I GOT RICE

basically my safc is picking up knock while im idling the car, it starts off at about 1 or 2 then it reads 0 when i start driving but the more i drive it, the worse it gets (30-40+ while idling) until its reading knock while the car is moving not just idling. the history goes that my 33 was imported as a non turbo but i bought the car with the turbo conversion. everything was swapped besides the brakes and gearbox. it was going all good until about 2 months ago when the motor blew on me and it was evident that the tuners who done my car f'd it up real good and fed way too much timing. i got a straight swap from hyperdrive but ever since i got it back i've had phantom knock. i told the guys at hyperdrive about it and they said they hooked it up and theyve read on there comps that theres no knock at all and that my safc is showing false readings. anyone had similar experience? anyone know how to resolve it?

... mandurah? rottnest? broome? he's not going for 2 foot taylor... he's going fishing with his son. mandurah is good but if u dont wanna drive an hour (if u live north of the river) theres a long groyn in (i think its called) quinns rocks - just turn left on the roundabout at the intersection before bunnings and follow that road around for about a km or 2 then turn left after the round bends and follow that for about another 2km till the end, u cant miss the groyn, its massive. you can catch plenty of herring/skippy and i caught a couple of good taylor. i always go to the end of the groyn but if u cant be bothered walking, anywhere is good

ur not the one with the unsprayed rear bumper areent you? didnt you get towed off last week and this week? i remember seeing the 375hp through the rear window. i swear you got like 15 somthing in one run, what happened???

Wondering how you guys went? I did crap.. AGAIN. Still running on only 10psi coz the boost controller is f'd. only got in 2 runs.. 1) 14.3 2) 14.5 both 60' timers were around like 2.6s... not impressed at all, ive only ever done 4 runs (including these 2) in my life. HOWEVER on my second run i got a 0.005 reaction time which meant I got the fastest of the night and they gave me a cool $300, so that at least made the night end on an up.

well the title basically says it all. got a FIAT turbo timer as the other one wasnt working. I simply unplugged the old broken one and plugged in the working one. the turbo timer works beautifully but now the boost controller wont turn on? i've neva had a problem with the boost controller before. i unplugged the working turbo timer to see if thats somehow 'interfering' with the wiring but the boost controller still wont turn on- seems like no power is feeding to it. wtf mate?

FOR HOW MUCH AND FROM WHERE DO YOU GET THESE? i've been looking for projector/angel eyes for my skyline for AGES!!!!

first time i ever been down to the drags and i entered my 33 GTST in... she's running an average 283hp @ 13psi... guess what i got on my first run???? 15.1!!!!!! LOL, with a reaction time of 1.03 seconds, lol. I had no clue what i was doing and had no clue the yellow lights dumped down so quickly. I panicked and just slammed the clutch and since i didnt dry my tires (there only street ones so i thought it wouldnt be that much difference) i lost all of first in about half a second so i slammed it in second and i already lost a good second out of my time... OUCH second run i did still an average of 14.3 and since i saw a few races before i ran the second time, i got to tell when to start releasing the clutch so i got a reaction time of 0.04 seconds. i only ran twice coz i got there in peak hour where is took an hour to get scrutenised then the long wait for the turbo's to go through. but yer, definantly will go next week and have another crack at it

not sure if anyone gets this problem but i am new to the turbo scene. when i turn my boost controller on while driving the guys at "ovaboost performance" set it to run at 13psi just a couple of weeks ago (normally runs at 10 wen turned off). But sometimes wen i have the controller on im spiking at 14-15psi and sometimes my car just "backs off- i.e feels like the car is bunny hopping" if it hits that high. what causes the spikes and is the bunny hopping at 120km/h normal wen spiking? anyhoo any help would be great

hi guys, my passenger door wont unlock and open. i pull the handle up but the latch for that connects on the door wont "unlatch". i ripped open the inner trim and i yanked on the rods that connect up to the handles to the latch and after a few strong and fast tugs on the rods :S the latch finally opened and unlocked the door. i sprayed WD-40 to lubricate but its doing nothing. Wen u unlock the passenger using the drivers lock/unlock (central locking) u here the normal noises coming from the passenger side except for the last bit wheres theres a rattle sound coming from the door. its a sound like if theres something trying to pull but its stuck and stays there. help me before i explode... oh and just now after we opened the door, we locked the latch so see if we could notice anything wrong. BUT NOW WE CANT OPEN IT AGAIN!!!!! can anyone help me or does someone know where i can take my 33 to pay someone to fix it.

When they did the wheel allignment the bushes were leaking a bit- but they tightened it up and said it was all good.

hey guys, my R33 keeps shaking including the steering wheel only when im doing between 108km - 120km then after that its fine. I just got the car alligned and balanced and it fixed it for the day then its back to its shaking self again after the next day. any suggestions?
