  1. Looking forward to being out there; my usual track car is my mini. Although I love taking the mini on the track, it doesn't cut it for outright ass-twitching performance
  2. Jono, I watched as mine were taken off and replaced. The process was exactly as you said - all intake removed. MidnightGTR, they won't be taken off from below, and you won't need to "tip" your engine. Why not speak to the guys at Sub Zero? They're in Brisvegas aren't they?
  3. The last track day I ran RB74 fronts and Comp2 rears. Unfortunately I also had crappy "compliance" fluid, DOT4 I think. Since then I've replaced my fluid with Motul DOT5.1 and I've got some Galfer front pads for track days. I found with the crud fluid I could only string together 2 lapsbefore fade set in. I wish R32 brakes were bigger (mine's non VSpec). I'm also running a lot more power since that day! Already done - see above. Thanks for advice though!
  4. Me, M, and I'll be there Sat
  5. Oh my God. I need to take the GTR out for another track day... pity I've only got standard brakes that won't last more than a couple of laps. I might have to bed in my track pads this week...
  6. Pushead: Long weekend? Monday's not a public holiday as Anzac Day is on Sunday.
  7. I'm one I don't think we have enough of us for a BBQ, but a photoshoot sometime might be good. If you organised a GTR only event Gary, then we could have a BBQ...
  8. It's a load of crap. Camel spiders don't have any venom and usually eat bugs.
  9. I thought you were banned.
  10. I swear by my Falken Azenis (semicomp) tyres. Bang for buck is incredible in my opinion. Not too expensive either, at $1300 for a set of 4 in 255/40/17.
  11. Good answer I think Geoff will be happy about that one. What time is our return expected? GOR we got back around 7pm from memory, even when I had to boot all you guys away from the rear of my car at the Shell servo in Geelong to allow me to leave early.
  12. Let's hope you find the farkers... Bandon: I dind't know you had a WRX stolen too?! You'll have to tell me about it on the Daylesford cruise.
  13. I've never witnessed them being stupid nor irresponsible, but there can always be a first time right? I'll word them up accordingly. And I'm not laughing at you if your post was directed at me! I've just never seen your car man and know you'd prefer to drive than to be a passenger! Andrew: anything wrong with over 30? :Paranoid:
  14. Push them Ash! Out of interest, would anyone be annoyed if I invited a couple of mates? One with an S15GT and another with an '03 WRX? Both stock. They're "older" guys just shy of 30...
  15. Thanks Ash. No need for me to explain! It's been sh1tting me for a long time, possibly over a year, but for some reason I decided to mention it until now... And thanks Christian for loking into it.
  16. Keep your eyes out for all that gear Steve. Did the woman get the rego of the tilt tray?
  17. Sounds like the perfect numberplate then.
  18. It's 2 sections on a single pipe, but if you buy a "GTR BOV" it should come with the lot. I bought mine for $150 about 12 months ago.
  19. What's the timelimit for read status updating? I know occasionally if there's a long thread to read that when I return back to browsing, all threads are marked read. Is there any way to change this, or manually mark thread/sections read?
  20. I was getting it the other day, but recently was able to start a new thread again ...
  21. Sorry to hear about this Gary, and I hope you can get some resolution in the matter. We'll have to organise this white 32 GTR photoshoot sometime I heard Sam left BMT recently, in fact, I think he made a nice public post about it!
  22. Not good man. I hope it turns up. I had my WRX stolen over 2 years ago so I know how you feel. I got up in the morning to find an empty space at my house where my car was parked the night before. Unfortunately is was never seen again... Maybe it was used as a prototype Osman convertible?
  23. Why? GTR BOV is a single unit.

I can't recommend the GME Eletrophone TX610 enough. It has double the output of the Uniden ones.
  25. Please tell me you had a super duper alarm on it? Sounds a little fishy to me.
