Hi Guys, I realise there's a WTB section in the classifieds, but not many people tend to browse that area. I added a post there a while back, and haven't received a reply. The factory speakers in my GTR are shot, and I'm not in a position to spend up on the entire system I want. I'm puting the call out for someone who's got their standard speakers (6x4?) lying around with no need for them. Cheers, Nick

I think the sampling rates are as follows: R32 - 4 times/sec R32 VSpec and R33 - 100 times/sec R33 VSpec and R34 - 1000 times/sec

I think I'll be in this one. I need to collect my T-Shirt anyway I might sit more with the lead pack rather than at the rear like I did on the GOR cruise though...

My '93 GTR running over 300rwkw has dodgy synchros on 4th and 5th gears from all it's high speed driving. I can trial this product in my GB and see if it reduces crunching... Would be easy to tell if it's better/worse/same. Let me know.

If the hose is disconnected as you've stated above, then you have absolutely no idea what you're doing. If, on the other hand, you've taken out the tiny boost restrictor and reattached the hose, then you're running about 1 bar but could possibly be more. Do as Ken has said, you'll get a good reading from there.

Doesn't that mean you're running unlimited boost? I wouldn't be happy with that modification...

Did you completely disconnect that hose and leave it off?

Your assumption is correct. The feed was taken from the battery, and has an inline fuse. The wire (quite a thick one, dunno the gauge) runs direct to the fuel pump. I didn't install it myself, it was done by the auto electrician over the road from RacePace in Bayswater. Nick

Bugger it, I'll take one! I've got a great mount attached to my rollcage in the mini, and was thinking of getting one made up that mounts between the rear passenger grab rails (like the custom made WRX Club ones for WRXs). It hangs the camera right in the middle of the car... but this suction cup version is available so I might as well grab it!

Not at all. They were lubed good 'n' proper with the supplied grease when fitted. There's no way I could get under my car without jacking it up anyway.

Mine were fitted whilst on a hoist with no wheels on. I've heard it's commonly done this way. Is there a problem doing that?

I think you'll find when you upgrade pumps that you'll need to upgrade your wiring to the pump. Larger pumps draw more current and stock GTR wiring is often not up to the task. I recently had a Bosch 927 (correct me if I'm wrong Dean) fitted and needed to have new wiring installed. Wasn't a big deal and cost an extra $150. We tried an 044, but it didn't fit, so we went for his baby brother. I'm running ~320rwkw, so I think it matches your needs.

My stock turbos spool to give max torque at about 4,400rpm. At 3000rpm there's bugger all boost.
