  1. About bloody time Chinny!
  2. I think you're wrong.
  3. Sounds like I missed a great event. I wasn't able to attend this time around due to prior committments, but look forward to next year. I know how good the single day event was last year.
  4. Thanks Greg. I'll chat to a mate of mine who helps me in my automotive endeavours (worked for a number of automotive crowds over the years). Perhaps we can do that when I fit the braided lines.
  5. Guys, it was never my intention to start such an argument. Please accept my apology. Thanks Andrew (Snowman) for letting me know where I stand... could you please forward the details of the cruise to me either via PM or e-mail. Perhaps we can chat in person on the cruise about the point I've raised. Thanks, Nick
  6. Out if interest, what charges would one be looking at to overhaul the calipers and replace seals on the master cylinder? I'replaced rotors, pads, fluid etc before but have never pulled a caliper apart to overhaul it.
  7. Krzysiu I disagree with that statement; CAMS affiliation is a "jack benefit"? I don't think $50 is a huge amount (more than a lot of clubs), but there's nothing for me personally to be gained other than forum membership. If I wasn't already in a club with a fantastic full colour magazine, I would consider paying it. I don't want to appear to be complaining either guys, I just think it would be nice to be able to attend "single marque" drives.
  8. Ash, I sent a message to James months ago and haven't got a reply so I'm going to ask it here in the open on this thread. I'm a member of a CAMS affiliated club and hold my CAMS licence through them. I have no intention of dropping that membership and would like to be a member of SAUVic, but I'm not comfortable paying the asking fee for simple forum/event access. Is there a second-tier membership option that incorporates these basic needs? I would love to come along to the GOR cruise like last year. Cheers, Nick
  9. I was there yesterday. It was an improvement on the organisation of last year, but communication to the crowds was apalling. During SS3 there was an enormous crash which lead to someone being airlifted out. The road was closed to all until 6pm... they could've let us all know what was going on instead of having us hang around waiting to leave for a couple of hours! A great day nevertheless; it's such a great road to drive quick. I'll be up there again next year.

    Racepace???

    :werd:
  11. Excuse my ignorance, but what is a pipe spanner exactly?
  12. Got mine today. Easy doing business, prompt service and a top product. Can't wait to fit them.
  13. What did you have done Brandon? Ben often doesn't answer the phone, but he does have an answering machine usually...
  14. update?
  15. Agreed 100%.
  16. Mine's the same... it's apparently condensation as stated above.
  17. Where is this sucker located?
  18. Geoff, no worries on the e-mail - I've got your reply here now I'll try to get under the car this weekend to suss out the tie rod situation - await some more photography
  19. Maybe my springs are shorter than they should be??
  20. Geoff, I'll have to get under and look. As you know I'm wanting to get one of your HICAS lock bars, but haven't heard from you since I sent an e-mail on 21 October. Just to make sure I've read your reply correctly - check to see if it's EQUAL L/R, and if it is, it means the rack has been taken out? It should be UNEQUAL L/R? And Mr AWDMAT, taking out the lamp doesn't help me when my steering wheel turns itself and straightens with a kick after 10km of driving now, does it?
  21. Then put me down for a set of brake lines please Al.
  22. Is a "set" front and rear lines? I'm after a "set" for my R32GTR... but if I'm looking at $700+ I'm not able to financially
  23. Can I ask a stupid question? If a battery is sealed, doesn't it follow that there'll be no gas released and hence no need for venting?
  24. I get better economy when on a "spirited cruise" giving it a good squirt through corners than I do on daily commuting duties. Peak hour traffic making up most of my trips - 17L/100km Spirited driving 12.5-13L/100 Running 2530s, PFC etc.
