  1. Does that mean that Andrew's car can't be used in any other publications? I've heard that ASM demands exclusivity...
  2. Remember I'm running 320rwkW too Gary
  3. I'm only stirring James :bonk:
  4. I still can't help but smile when I recall the story you were telling me outside the bakery, about the cop pulling you over and looking for the turbo. I look forward to the day you've got the new beast... if I could help with a workshop manual I would, but I've only got an R32 GTR workshop manual. Why not transplant an RB26DETT then you can use my manual :aroused: Once again, thanks to everyone involved in the running and driving the cruise. James, if you'd like a passenger on a scouting run, I'd be more than happy to fill the seat
  5. Two snails and 320rwkW makes me chew through a little more fuel than the NA :usuck: :jk:
  6. Okay, so I filled up today for the first time since the cruise... 423km total. 62.44L added to tank - 14.76l/100km. :thankyou:
  7. Nice one. I was running 205rwkW (Racepace) on my stock turbos running 1 bar with a restrictive RSR exhaust. When I upgraded to Super Drager, PFC and 2530s I achieved 320rwkW (Racepace) at 19psi. It's definitely laggier; probably 800-100rpm. With stock turbos I was hitting boost at about 4400 rpm, now it's closer to 5000. There's boost building from below 4000rpm, but nothing really noticeable... once it hits 5000 though, hang on for the ride! Sounds mad too with those larger exhaust wheels.

    Camera Mount

BlahBoy, I'm interested in hearing more about this wireless camera. Where did you buy it, how much are they, and how does the connection work? I could really have some fun with such a cool piece of technology!
  9. Cool. So it definitely wasn't coming from my car Sid?
  10. Jess if I had a spare camera I'd give it to you. Unfortunately I don't even have one to mount in my cars.
  11. The boost control solenoid has a black hose with a yellow band painted on it. The yellow band corresponds to the location of the restrictor. Simply detach the hose, work the restrictor to the surface and reattach hose.
  12. My fuel light illuminated on my way home from work yesterday - a total of 385km since filling up before the cruise. Not bad for an 11 sec car
  13. Interesting story Jess... now, where are the pics and videoof all this action you're involved in?
  14. Unless you have an oil cooler. Mine never gets over 90C on the road, but hits around 110C on the track. (With cooler)
  15. Pisser of a thread...
  16. I like the name centred between the lights. Nice work Shan.
  17. In the first section at the base of a hill I managed to bottom out on something. The two R33 GT-Rs (CR3ATION and ALSGTR?) behind me were showered with sparks. I managed to make it all the way home with 1/4 tank too... James, I'm rubbing it in again Oh and Dox, I was sitting behind you for that single lane section, but wasn't itching to get past. Thanks for pulling over at the right hander though, but the winery was only a couple of kilometres down the road.
  18. Shan, a couple of my mates have expressed a lot of interest in getting a radio each. Is it possible to add to your order, or is it all finalised?
  19. So what's come of this? It's a month ago and no follow up. When I imported my car, it had an aftermarket wheel with HICAS boss on it. I've since removed that wheel and replaced it with an original. I've lined up the dots on the wheel and steering column as closely as I can. Since then, my HICAS light comes on after 10km of driving but this doesn't bother me a great deal as it never did anything other than illuminate. I had a wheel alignment done a couple of days ago, and since then, if I drive with a lot of acceleration when the car has an unlit HICAS light, the steering wheel angle becomes turned to the left about 20 degrees. The car doesn't pull in any direction, but the wheel is not straight. After the 10km of driving, the light illuminates, but the car has an incredible kick sideways. This is very disconcerting, as the first time I felt it I was mid corner doing over 100kph and I nearly lost it. I'm going to ring the alignment place tomorrow and try to get it back in with them this Thursday... I can't leave the car like this, it's far too dangerous. Nick
  20. I'm missing too - I was inside tasting some wines. Although they weren't exceptional wines, they were exceptional prices - exceptionally expensive. I decided not to buy anything as I reckon a lot of the wines I buy are better and cheaper.
  21. I had a great day guy, and my "cruise virgin" passenger had an awesome time. He's got the bug, so will bring his car out for one sometime. Once photos are uploaded, is there any way of editting details out, like numberplates? I've noticed quite a few pics with plates visible... Thanks to James, Ash and Andrew for a fantastic route and the most comprehensive map I've ever seen! I had a couple of "moments" during the trip; I had an alignment performed on the car immediately prior to the cruise. Since then, if I give it a bit of gas from the time the car's started, the steering wheel becomes non-centred (approx 20 degrees left). After 10km of driving the HICAS light comes on, the ass twitches majorly and the steering becomes straight again. It was very disconcerting doing 100kph through a corner when the back of the car suddenly changes direction! Imagine if I was doing 250kph at Phillip Island! Cheers guys.
  22. Haha, I'm a Clinical Demonstrator at the School of Dental Science.
  23. Almost Gary - it's at the corner of Warrigal and Waverley Rds, just South of Homsglen TAFE.
  24. I teach there, does that count?
