  1. put pintara 4.11s in it..lol cheers darren
  2. second gear billet servo, upgraded valve body, new clutches..something like that cheers darren
  3. no good...4bidn one snapped the rear right driveshaft on first pass...on the launch theres a sleeper 2wd auto c34 stag out here...full stock ride height..stock rims..stock torque converter 3071 int gate..12.7@114mph...crazy
  4. i know..i have 3 of them..i bought the one for the stagea he said he woudn't modify..2 weeks later he does the 56T comp wheel..lol now i want a g4 with vnt...lol cheers darren
  5. lol..funny you say that...trying to gee someone up atm for tomorrow night, should go ok, my cars all ready but is sitting in workshop waiting for first tune, busting to see how the hypergear fairs.. cheers darren
  6. that goes hard, would suprise a few people! cheers darren
  7. I'll grab the spoon and bib..lol cheers darren
  8. love you work stao, can't wait for the G4 results and the VNT T04Z /35 or T04Z-P trim after that..lol if you run external gate on stock mani/or rof exhaust housing, will there be room for the vnt actuator/setup with stock manifold maybe? cheer darren
  9. not enough..lol, tick..tick , and the moneys in the torque converter after 3500rpm they cost big bucks mine exploded into a million bits at 316rwkw after a few nights out on 26x8.5 bias ply et streets(slicks with a groove in them) i had a look, 15's fit on back, so maybe falcon pursuit steel rims, 15x7 with a 26x10 slick would be a good start for a cheap rim cheers darren
  10. can you go back to a 15 inch rim?....26x8.5 or 26x10, depending on diff gearing. cheers darren
  11. dunno, if your talking slicks on a 2wd and streeters on a gtr..ill take the 2wd, guess there many ways to look at it though, not sure which angle you are coming from cheers darren
  12. they absorb f**kloads more shock, they are a lot easier to get to work without suspension mods you will go faster and break less shit(driveshafts/tailshafts etc) people that go fast on manual trans with drag radials deserve a big pat on the back, it ain't that easy... i don't hate them, they serve a purpose, i only use them for the street, but even then i like bias plys..but they don't go around a corner..lol cheers darren
  13. f**k the radials of for a start..lol, i can see you forever chasing you ass with those things..and breaking shit.. i'll take a 2WD skyline with slicks any day of the week over a GTR, i think it is much easier to get them to e.t and hook up with a laggy turbo cheers darren
  14. yeh, has a one piece tailshaft and 31 spline axles..has done 70 odd passes though, although the gearsets(in the diff) are the weak point having said that, the standard axles and driveshaft will last a fair while on slicks with a manual and forever with a auto I only ever ran stock 28 spline axles and stock 2 piece driveshaft in my r31,never broke a axle, but busted the original centre bearing in the driveshaft , reconned it and it was fine..auto though, they are soft on a drivetrain.. cheers darren
  15. interesting my mate has a T04Z/Gt35 on his manual vl turbo, not sure if its got a few boost leaks, but its a laggy bitch, has gone 10.3@133mph with manual trans on a 26x10.5 slick cheers darren
  16. tell me about this billet T04z Stao?, you built much bigger 66mm-70 compo wheel stuff? cheers darren
  17. around 370-380rwkw, manual, but slicks, drag radials just break shit, youd lose 40rwkw through a auto, so a T67 woudn't do it auto Auto youd do it first pass, manual would take at least a few meetings to dial it in no doubt.. cheers darren
  18. ^^after owning a vl, it will be scary the mph vs power you need to run a time..lol 10 sec vl> same motor 12 sec stagea..haha cheers darren
  19. thats what i thought, works unacceptable, but the customers a pain in the ass aswell, i got sick of him changing his mind just reading it cheers darren
  20. i have one..you can have it..just took it out to do walbro and 044 setup...but seriously, just get a walbro..they drop straight in with no mods, once you take it out, its a 10min job on S.2's..on s.1's..it a a pain.. cheers darren
  21. bump...theses are for Rb25 R34's and series 2 stageas...Neo motors... cheers darren
  22. They corner fine, i used that size 7-8 yrs ago..they held up to upper 300rwkw okay, after that they didn't really have enough sidewall to hook up, i drove from adelaide to melbourne and back on them, and on the way back the rain was treachorous and they where still fine. when i made upper 400rwkw..they only lasted 3 days though..they ended up deposited in the back guards/wheel well even from roll ons at 100km plus , no grip... you should have got some falcon pursuit steel rims and fitted the 15's stao, much better with the big sidewall cheers darren
  23. Thats a pretty race car! cheers darren
  24. Woudn't you have to run a turbo with standard manifold with gate of standard manifold, and then mount it to housing to do a back to back, to make that call? I like it of the exhaust, because i never have to worry about my stock manifold cracking and redoing it, just replace manifold, and 2nd, on a stagea a ex gate fits a lot better on the exhaust housing room wise cheers darren
  25. Id be interested to see a back to back 3540 vs GTx3540 on kill on a RB. I always thought the backpressure and turbine flow would be the first thing to bring the bigger compressor unstuck, same deal with the 66-67 mm/3540, which must be fairly close to a GTX3540 comp wheel flow wise but maybe a tad heavier inertia wise im guessing cheers darren
