i had a 3.5 inch dump, then a 3 inch with a slight offset lukey and a resonator on my r31. It ran 141mph through the mufflers on 25psi with a auto it was quiet exhaust but with a vented gate My mate had same mufflers in his vl turbo( manual) as he copied with a 3582 turbo on upper 27psi, but with a 3 inch dump..he ran 138mph (you work the power out out) on a 3582 1.06 turbo , he dropped the exhaust at dump and it made 10rwkw difference...Had a vented gate No meows.. It really really comes down to vented gate..if you don't vent it..good luck. You need a f**koff big exhaust. Just like a Gtr with the twins replaced with upgrades... or perhaps merge it a long way back. But thats a p.i.t.a honestly you just need to test it, as different mufflers and cats pose different restrictions..even in same sizing.. cheers darren

You don't need anything crazy if you venting gate to atmo and run no cat.. If you not..good luck with that .., just take of exhaust on dyno before you piss fart around remaking stuff 400 should be a walk in the park for a 3 inch exhaust.. cheers darren

Can you put up a dyno graph with a overlay of the new tall ss2 comp vs older shorter ss2?, to see where the gains are and maybe the g3 sat result your chasing out of interest? cheers darren

Everyones forgetting he will lose heaps of power through the 4wd tyres. I highly doubt it will make comparable skyline numbers.. just best not get to hooked up in a number. Cheers Darren -

Ill back Matt up anytime, he's a stand up guy , At the end of the Day he's not affliated with anyone, has nothing to prove...and no hidden agenda like most..... and has provided more information(and first hand info..not my mother/sisters /cousin bullshit ).. and freely i might add to the community than most ever will. The M35 crowd are the biggest bunch of winy f**ktards out of the nissan group,its easy to be the big frog..IN THE SMALL POND.... and some people cant' handle not having a monoply..newflash..shit doesnt last forever..no one has a monoply forever in any platform.. i think its funny people trash the power figure..newsflash..its a Gt37 sized turbine,that in testing seems to spool faster than a 35R turbine ..it would want to make good power..but hey..nobody knows that or would care to ask..its not possible to be able to be better than the other turbo. first we had..turbo doesn't come up on converter..ok now it does... then it doesnt make as much power..ok..now it makes more.. now we have dyno reads high...so what proof you have that yours doesn't either? 1/4 mile time..okay we have no track in s.a cheers darren

Its a lot of comp wheel for a Gt35 turbine. I contacted them and said build one with a gt37 turbine and it would be awesome..he said they will look at it later... Its a normal upgrade in the XR6 turbo world and vl turbo have used it a few times cheers darren

Been watching this thread. Been using stock neo springs in mates car, 260 ponnies, 32psi and no issue atm but building a 25/30 so was just going to get the performance spring and retainer set . Not sure what everyone is going on about in this thread but, i have only ever seen the performance springs and double ferreas for sale for neo's. Ive used the preformance springs in sohc rb30s with no problems cheers darren

havoc for ex manis...cheap and work ebay plenums are fine..but you have to ask yourself why your using one, most rob bottom end power which is what a little 2.5l motor needs.. cheers darren

What brand of mufflers you using?, got any part numbers? Id like to build a 3.5 inch exhaust, but my mates ones are super drony even with 2 big mufflers and a lot of 3.5 inch mufflers are only 3 inch internally so im sorta put off atm was just going to go 3.5 inch to just before diff and go back to 3 inch and use muffflers i have used before that dont drone like crazy cheers darren -
Big torque increase in midrange and down low..rb25s are shitboxes anything under 3l is shit in a mid size car. Will nose over up top due to backpressure on a gt30 turbine Cheers darren
