  1. Well a internal gate 8cm(there is no internal 10cm, only 8 and 12) Td06 20g is $760 delivered, and bill told me he charges up to $200 to check and rebalance them.. cheers darren
  2. So is he selling the Kinguwa TD06 sl2 8cm internal gate and just checking them to make sure they are all good, or is he machining them into a 0P6 housing or something?
  3. Yeh i'm not to worried, i ran it that way on my R31 with no wear and my brother runs it that way on his gemini, with a 3082 just have to see how i go, depends on so many variables. The turbo is the big hi-flow protoype stao built ages ago, made 320rwkw on around 23psi i think, and didn't get hot even with the .63 exhaust apparently cheers darren
  4. Got this in the mail today... I am still waiting for my car to get here so will be a while before i have any results But are going to run it with some pre turbo water /meth injection and some Tomei 260 9.15poncams and let it eat on at least 22-23psi. If it make 300rwkw through a auto i will be happy What would a 300rwkw stagea trap, what do they weigh with double sunroofs? 1650kg, my goal was 115mph cheers darren
  5. depends on a few things, but between 5 to 7 grand happens 4 times, 3 times in a under 124mph trapping gtr generally, and even if they make the same peak power at 7000rpm one might be down 20rwkw between say 5-6 grand, that car might pull a car length every gear change and run 2-3mph more through the traps In a auto with a converter, it woudn't really happen, the converter would flare to upper 6000rpm from start to finish and the cars would fairly even, thats basically how it works Had a mates gtr yrs ago, had same peak power, lillte bit more down low, every gearchange he would pull 1 car then it would stay the same, then change gear, pull one car instantly then stay same was HIGHLY annoying, haha cheers darren
  6. If it was auto, with a converter yes, the mph would only show a peak figure, however seeing as most guys are manual, the powerband under the curve will still be shown in the mph. Especially the difference between 1/8 to 1/4 traps depending on turbos cheers darren
  7. Why are you flogging a dead horse? i'm of to put nistune on my R31 so it idles like a concrete mixer..lol, because it has trouble even getting the smallest hydraulic cams to idle nice with big injectors on vl's or R31's. When it comes to ECU's, some look crap on paper and in real life work, and some look great on paper and aren't that great, and despite what YOU might think, thats the way it is..... cheers darren
  8. you can get them to work fine with air-con, i had one on my WRX in 1999 with a Gt30 etc , before they did flash tunes, I had one on my r31 with air-con, both drove like stock actually a good tuner can get a decent result from them cheers darren
  9. I want to see you build a blow though setup on a skyline with no problems.., you'd spend half you time ringing a towtruck to pick you up and draining the motor of fuel because the carby seals let go, haha cheers darren
  10. So PJ's SR20 has made nearly 485rwkw on upper 30's boost, with a 6265 but on a well built RB26 on 35psi, it will only make 400rwkw.......... HKS sam, the 6262 is a closer match for the 35R if your worried about response cheers darren
  11. To small for a Rb30, even with a very conservative cam grind Rb30's swallow a f**k load more air than a pissy Rb25 cheers darren
  12. Think MV's rate them to 320rwkw with just a shiftkit and big trans cooler cheers darren
  13. Maybe...lol, depends on where peak power is made, and it also depends how much converter slippage you get, although up to a 3500rpm stall , ypu can still retain lockup converter , which is COOL!. so its just not all gearing , don't know if you can fit 28 inch tall tyres all around on a stagea to gear it up like a RWD ..lol cheers darren
  14. Cars run XXX traps , work out car weight= horsepower 3A would piss in 400rwkw, full weight GTR's have gone over 150mph with them I think Keas rate a built 3A at 850ish flywheel hp but weight and rev depending(under 8500rpm from memory and can't remember the weight) cheers darren
  15. Yeh KEAS are doing the 3A adapters etc atm, its about $5500 for the whole package though and with the stageas weight(which apparently kills autos, weight and revs)it would be rated for less , whereas to get a series 2 B done with all that and good for 350rwkw is about $2300-2500 atm Depends how much power you need i guess, the chances are slim you are going to break a built up B wth a stock bottom end Rb25 i would have thought As for the 1A you don't seem to be able to get any parts for them, i had to get a few bits machined up in the end cheers darren
  16. I wish , i have destroyed several S.1 boxes, in my R31 that where built up,with 370rwkw, i then went glide..much better , the only real tuff box of the lot is the 3A, the rest are fairly so-so MV's do the S.2- $385.00
  17. series 1 RE4R01A-good for 320ish rwkw with shiftkit series 2 RE4R01B -good for 250ish with a shiftkit, then 320ish with kevlar clutches etc
  18. Its all different, nothing out of the 1A'a or the 3A's fits the B's, i know the valve body definitly doesn't 1A is series 1 stagea box, 3A is the 300zx etc box cheers darren
  19. Awesome build!, can't wait to see it finished cheers darern
  20. TD06 SL2 25G, T67 or TD06H 25G ? as the first 2 are the same as far as i can see, some vary in comp covers and the TD06H is always the bigger turbine as far as i can see in Kando speak, think that what was confusing Roy maybe, or maybe i am the one confused?, but it is confusing..lol cheers darren
  21. Yeh i know they are different Roy, but i think the poster was refering to the TD06 SL2 25G that kando sell,,and they are the same, the comp covers are only different He will do this one http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/270794579581?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 For $664 to your door this week if you pay through paypal I want to buy tommorrow, not sure if i should buy that one, or this one http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Kinugawa-Turbocharger-3-Anti-Surge-TD06S-25G-T3-V-Band-/290603882502?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item43a9575806 Thoughts??, i want to put it on a standard manifold. One just looks prettier from all i can tell, i don't need to turn the earth power wise, would be happy with 320ish rwkw on a standard manifold,on pump 98 with water/meth injection hard to ignore the cheap one for the price though. cheers darren
  22. Same aren't they except for comp covers?, so i guess it comes down to how much clearance you have with your manifold, if you have plenty i'd be going the 4 inch cover, if you have a standard mani get the 3 inch. $680 is not bad, he still want $750 delivered for that one with 10cm usually, i got him down to $720 with 2. cheers darren
  23. I went to ATS in adelaide today to get some longer studs for a 10mm spacer plate. Bill said he had , had a lots of Kando dynamics turbos in there, as S@J automotive apparently(a big subaru shop), buy a lot of them for suby upgrades. He said they where genuine Mitsubishi internals, but they can be a bit sloppy in assembly at times, with oil seal clearances and sometimes the centre bearing oil feed holes haven't lined up with the oil feeds. Basically he said they where a great product just let down a bit with quality control and its worth getting them checked before putting them on and you should get a long life out of them cheers darren
  24. Interesting, i spray 700ml per minute for around 680-710hp on 26psi on at the crank in my old motor on 98 octane , On ausrotary one of the guys was spraying 1500ml i think per minute on a 13B turbo with a GT42 and 35ish psi on 98 octane I thought that the only thing stopping you really adding more water was generally the ignition side of things as its hard to light so much water. cheers darren
