its was my wife cousin, 21 year old with what was a nice car, ive only heard throught my bro in law and mother in law so far but yeah, racing a mate, mate pulled in front, clipped his car and bang, apparently cleaned up 4 stobie poles, in the process too....... anything to come out of this positive...... he and his girlfriend are alive....... apart from writing the car of and the 30 g public proprety bill he was also over the limit, so no insurance, he was usually so careful witht the car and only drove it on weekends, im pretty sure he knows a lot of the guys from autobahn mile end., they may know him as the guy whos dad owns rowe an jarmans. Hes a genuinly nice guy, got his head screwed on right but like many loves to go faster and faster. ive driven his car and fark it was quick he absolutley loved his car, but an accident like this is just crazy. Im so glad that hes ok and everyone involved is safe and well, yeah i know hes done the wrong thing and he was obviusoly doing the wrong thing but we all are a little silly and some time in our lives, but still no excuse. from what ive heard his dad when down to the wreckers to see the car and the guy there offered his condolences to his family. when he told the guy that they both walked away with 1 bruise and a graze he was amazed!
i myself spun out doing about 140khm/hr and missed hitting a stobie by two inches at the most about 2 years ago and yeah i too was pissed and heariung my wife scream as we slid sideways towards the stobie pole, and thinking the foolowing bay that our son may have become an orphan made me learn a lesson too. luckily i got awaya with a bill for two new rims and tires.
If a silly accident like either of this can teach anybody a lesson its a positive.
for everyboady sake, next time you go over the speed limit think to yourself, am i doing the right thing, next time you have a few brewskis think to yourself should i drive. i would hate for anybody to have to learn the hard way. Nobody perfect but at least make the effort to look after yourself and each other.
