hi guys, yeah im fine thanks neck feels a little stiff will see how it is in the morning. pretty upset but... like viet boi just said i was planning to start getting some work done on her. Just glad this happened before i went to all the trouble. I do have full comp which is good but yeah it should all be on him any way. he said he was fully covered but got me sort of worried because its his ex girlfriends insurance or something i have all his details anyway. even if he tried to give me false information i would be able to track him down because my girlfriend works in just specs in the shops, and he gets his glasses from them so all his information is on the system. bloody falcon!! im guessing my car is a total write off he did not get on his skids what so ever. he swerved at the last second and just ploughed strait into the back of me. The back of the car is sort of pushed into the boot. the spare tire took a lot of the force but is still pushed up quite close to the ECU and the back right wing is all crumpled and sticks out about a foot to the side of the car. back right tire wheel is pretty much pinned by the bumper. wish i took some pics. the insurance company was closed and i could not leve the car on the side of the road because the boot was just flapping around. i called RAC and they put me through to C and S towing who checked my cover and have taken the car to the assessors in bayswater. i just landed a new job so tomorrow is my last day of labouring which i was in a really good mood about and now it has put a hell dampener on the whole thing. i am going to have a look int to getting the car back if it is classed as a write off (bloody hope so, i dont want it back after being bodged up) apparently it goes for auction but we will see a bout that!

hi guys. i live in rockingham. just had some one go up the back of me and writen my gtt off. does anyone know where i would be best off having my car towed to?

ok thanks for the help guys. was secretly wanting it to be broken so i could upgrade. the only way the girlfriend would let me get away with it lol not that she needs to know the truth

it still has just about nothing coming out under revs so dont know if thats it.

hi guys. can someone help me here. got a stock exhaust on my GTT and for some reason nothing comes out of the right hand pipe. Surely this can not just be there for decoration? Guessing there must be a bit of a blockage. If so I wonder what sort of power loss this would be giving?

thanks guys. no have had no loss of power, and got a stock exhaust. I called Nissan and they sed they cant help me because its an import and cant do anything about it. so im going 2 take it 2 Sik Em Wrex on monday after work. Tim thinks its most prob nothing to serious just a lose wire or a dicky sensor maybe (i bloody hope). lee.

Hi guys need some help. my engine warning light was on for about five minutes today and it has me really worried. I have a 1998 R34 GTT it has done about 98 and a half thousand k's and have had no trouble with it what so ever. from what i can tell all the oils and coolants are at max and it never heats up over half way. Runs great and cant work out what would cause it to com on. has me a bit worried because i just had the valve body Sent off to mv automatics and had a new shift kit done which im really happy with. Only thing is a couple of days after i got it done i realised the engine light was on for a little while longer than it should be. do you think it has done something to my motor? i was also thinking maybe it has some thing to do with the fact that im almost at 100,000 k's i know some cars are programmed 2 have the light on 2 remind you to get a service. any help would be really, really appreciated lee.

I was just driving down Read street just after the Malibu roundabout and saw some unlucky bugger and his m8s stood at the bus stop with the rear window of his gunmetal 32 smashed in. what the hell happened?

It don't rally make any difference what car they are driving. I went for a walk down the foreshore yesterday evening with my girlfriend and some little arsehole was hanging out the back window of a fairly new white commodore yelling some stupid crap at me calling me a C*NT. i have never seen him before he don’t know me, he just felt like being a prick. Thing that does my head in is that they think they are real hard men when they have mates around. I would love to come across the little S**t again one day on his own. Not that I would recognise him. I find it hard to believe that people still want 2 have kids these days because that’s what they all seem 2 turn out like. There is now respect these days what so ever. I would not have dreamed of pulling up in a bp just to start a fight with some one i don’t know or drive past someone yelling abuse. Kids can get away with just about anything these days. Parents can’t even smack there kid cops cant do anything, they are untouchable and they know it so they run a muck. my girlfriends sisters friend was talking about how her little brothers m8s flagged a day off school the other week. They went into freo and put rocks through a load of people’s car windows. one of them happened to be a cop car lol so they got caught as you could guess but I bet there was nothing really done about it. They would have spent some time in a cell waiting for the parents 2 arrive and then gone home. The parents would most likely have a fine to pay but what do the kids get from this. Nothing I bet, just a good story to tell some mates back at school the next day. Its just a shame one of the car owners didn’t catch them, they may have been taught a lesson then I know if it was my car they would. well thats my rant over but yeah my point is it dont matter what car you drive or where you go there are arseholes everywhere these days and its only going to get worse. so they want to stop blaming the import car drivers in the news and people should not be making comments about rockingham.

yeah thats what the do but because its an r34 there r not enought of them around so they sed they cant get hold of one.

hi guys I am going to get the sluggish tiptronic gearbox in my gtt modified to cut the shift times right down. The company is in South Australia and i need to send my valvebody off to them, which will leave me with out a car for the best part of two weeks i would have thought. so was wondering if any one might know where i could get my hands on another valvebody to send off? i dont hold out much hope for finding one but thought i would give it a try. Thanks guys.

the supra does have a better engine that’s for sure. according to the high performance imports mag no.80 they compared the 2jz and the rb26dett they came to the conclusion that the 2jz is better than the rb26 if your going for high power with out having to do out all the internals. so yeah its going to out do a gtt. but unless you only want it for the 1/4 mile what’s the point? you can still get a great amount of power out of the rb25det (more than enough 2 put a smile on your face) like someone sed earlier the newer supras are about 50 grand and i no 4 sure i would not be throwing a penny of that at a supra when your just about able 2 get yourself an R34 GTR. Big power is not everything put a highly tuned supra on a track with a fairly stock gtr and i think it would still get hammered. anyone who goes out and spends that sort of money on a supra is mad if you ask me. I would still go for the GTT over the supra. The engine may not be up to the 2jz's but nor is the bloody GTR if all you are worried about is power and I think we all know what we would pick out of those 2. the R34 i think is a better looking car inside and out (don’t know what ppl are talking about when they say it is very plastic inside, have they ever been in one?) and it still has potential to put out more than enough power. just my opinion though im only new to the world of fast cars seeing as i have only had my GTT about 6months n she is still stock at the moment.

hi guys the bomex body kits what sort of quality are they. are that plastc or fibreglass? dont want fibreglass heard horror stories about em. thanks lee.

a torque converter is a very efective upgrade for autos from what i can tell from the performance buildups technical tips no1 mag i got a month or 2 ago has a 7 or 8 page writeup on em. has to be the last performance modification you make to your car tho so once you have done everything else you want because they are made to suit the car.

hi guys my car is well overdue for a service now and wanted to know if anyone had any recommendations for me. i live in rockingham so would like it to be somewhere close if possible. mut the main thing is that i take it to someone trustworthy who knows what they are doing and do it properly. dont want to take it to some bunch of jokers who tick the bloody sheet but do f**k all. like the nissan garage. my dad took his x-trail in paid close 2 $500 for a full service for it n they did bloody bugger all!!! thanks lee.

yeah i will get a gtr style bumper that fits the gtt from powerplaypreformance so that should work i would have thought. what front guard would b a problem sorry?

hey guys my car is still totally stock and want 2 her a new outfit lol not sure what kit i should get for her and where to get it from though. I quite like the look for the nismo kit i have seen of a couple of R34s but dont know where i would get one if thats what i decided on. I would also love 2 have here looking more like a gtr (wouldnt we all lol?) but for that the bonnet is totally different isnt it? from what i can tell it is any way, in all the pictures i have seen the bonnet is much more beefier and finishes level with the top of the head lights where as the GTT finishes lower. any ideas and pictures? thanks lee

thanks. just checked out a couple of pictures looks good but what is going on with the end of it? its got something weird lookin in the end of it. how does it sound?
