ok - im going to take it to a turbo workshop and see what they say, because like i said after 5000 revs the fan hits, ive changed the fan 3 times and hopefully they can sort it out, thanks for all your input.

yeah when the original fan died - my skyline sounded like an XD falcon....i think im going to chop the baldes a little - also is it right that the blades sort of expand when the blade spins - i must sound like a real loser but im just confused by the whole thing.

hi guys, do u know of any reputable and honest places in melbourne to get my turbo rebuilt? i know of a few places but im just checking to see what you guys think or have experienced.

the fan doesnt spin freely at all. (ie not freely like a bmx bike wheel), is there any other type of clutch fan i could use like a gtr fan or 200sx, 180 etc etc?

i think i threw out the old fan, ill try trimming it down, will it affect anything if its trimmed down? and whats should i use?

hi guys maybe you could shed some light for me, i recently had to change my clutch fan on my r33 s1, i never had a problem with the fan hitting my custom cooler piping, but as soon as i changed the fan i cant rev over 5000 otherwise it hits! were there different fans for the skyline - or do you think there was a different fan used from the beggining? im stumped.
