  1. Maybe you guys can shed some light on this subject for me. I got my car back together a couple months ago and have noticed something with the oil pressure. I have a 1989 Nissan 240sx with a RB25DET swap. Once the motor is all warmed up I am seeing oh Idk 7-10psi of oil pressure at idle and crusing at 2500 rpms it seems to be around 20-25psi. The part that worries me is anything past about 4k RPMs the pressure seems to peak at 40-45psi or so and doesn't go up anymore. Right now I am running conventional 10w-40 oil. I had some 10w-30 Mobile 1 synthetic in there and it did about the same thing. I did replace the oil pump about 2,000 miles ago or so with a new OEM one. I just recently took off the oil pan and replaced the gasket around the oil pickup as well. Is that oil pressure normal? Shouldn't it build more pressure in the higher RPMs? If you need any other information let me know. I am going to try swapping to a mechanical gauge here in the next day or 2 just to be sure its not that. But when the engine is cold the pressure will climb to 70psi until the oil warms up.
  2. I have a RB25 Series 1 in my nissan 240sx and since this forum has helped me on more than a few occations thought I would post up my problem. I am trying to start my car for the first time since last fall and changing the headgasket, injectors, Power FC, and a few other odds and ends since then. Here is the latest from todays work: I got the MAF recognized by the Power FC. (my dumbass had a SAFC last year and didnt hook the orn/blue wire back up to the ecu harness) And I figured out the 5volt issue (some harness wasnt plugged in by the fusebox under the hood) But the car still isnt firing up. So if anyone with a Power FC has things for me to check on that let me know. I have Deatcshwerks 740cc injectors so I have the injectors set at 50% and 0.00ms on the latency right now. I did a sensor check and nothing is highlighted black now but what sensor "dots" should be lit up? Also when I am cranking the injectors duty cycle goes from .5% to .1% if I crank for more than 5seconds or so.
  3. Haha, sorry i was typing fast. I don't pay enough attention to spelling sometimes.
  4. AWESOME! thank you.
  5. I need a part number for a isolator for the RB25 injectors that looks like this: (Any Ideas? I pulled one off a KA24DE today and it was too big.) Any Ideas? I pulled one off a KA24DE today and it was too big.
