  1. It has been done before, I know of a couple of conversions. Give Greg Boyle a call at Auto Sport. He races an S15 with an RB26 conversion, though it is not road registered. He can also organise an engineers certificate.. http://www.autosport.net.au/
  2. I and a couple of other members on NSCC have had there cars tuned by Scott at Insight. He did an awsome job on my car and sorted a few issues that were not picked up by my previous tuner. His Dyno cell is a work of art in technology. You will be pleased with the result
  3. Mark,we will run 5 to 6 groups with a max of 10 to 11 cars. We will have 5 possibly 6 sessions during the day. The track is booked from 7.30am to 4.30pm. There is no entrty form,if you wish to attend email your details ie: Name, car, previous best time at Wakefield,SS car number (if you have one otherwise a trackday number will be allocated) and contact number. As far as regs they are the same as the SAU club day except fire extinguisher is optional. Cars will be scrutineered with the usual checks on seat belts, oil leaks, loose objects etc. Cheers Phil
  4. Hi guys, Due to several members cars pulling out for various mechanical issues we have spots available for Sunday the 29th of May.(the day after SAU trackday) This will be an official NatSoft timed day with two passenger sessions, one in the morning and one after lunch. We are offering the day to SAU members for the sum of $165. If you are interested or feel like backing up the next day after the SAU event please send me an email at phil.minkie@gmail .com Cheers Phil
  5. The 2ltr WRX that did a 1.41 must have had some serious work done to get that time.
  6. My current and last car were fitted with the Hi Tech stainless systems.Great quality, excellent fitment and not too loud. Its been on the car for 6.5 years with no deterioration
  7. Just a heads up guys as far as accomodation at Mikes Manor,Mike has stopped opperating his B&B and has no plans to open in the future. I'm organising the NSCC track day this month, we normally stay there, but for now it looks like the cabins or motels in Goulburn are our only choices
  8. Before you get the car engineered you have to have an emissions test done at either Botany or Penrith testing centres. Its free, and is required by whoever you get to engineer your car
  9. http://www.autotechengineering.com.au/index.php Spiro is a very good tunner and I have been very happy with the his results.
  10. Its easy thev'e had 40 years more experience
  11. If it was a black 4 door 33 it was Philb he works in Frenches Forest. I see quite a few skylines on the Nth Beaches as I live in Balgowlah but work on the beaches. Had Skylines for years but have a white S15 these days(still have a soft spot for skylines though)
  12. What tha! BOV's are there to vent of boost after WOT to stop it heading back to the turbo causing it to slow and reducing throttle response and in the case of higher boost damage. Venting to the atmo is very illegal and in the case of AFM if it is not vented back it upsets your AFR's and the ECU over fuels the injectors. Blocking them off is only if you want "fully sik flutter"
  13. The S15 only comes with a 6 speed the S14 and S14a comes with a 5 speed. Same size box, clutch is different
  14. Heasmans are good if you tell them exactly what you want
