hey shell mate, how good was the bloody godzilla? that thing sounded tops when it flew down the straight. i wonder what sort of speed he reached. i was having a chat to mark hooker (guy in the pics next to the car with the winfield shirt) and he said the owner of godzilla owns the famous exa and two hr31's. what a beautiful car the r32 is. shat all over that falcon with the silly paintjob. shame there was hardly any nissans there, besides the 300zx's in the Z Car Club stand. that r32 was the highlight of the day - why there was hardly anyone checking it out, i have NO idea! stupid bastards. we gotta get some nissans together at that nissan cruise at the end of the month. cheers, MARK

g'day guys i was driving a mate home last night. i was approaching the intersection of elizabeth drive and hume highway. the lights went red and i slowed down. anyway, i watched 3 cars lined up on the hume highway lanes. one was a white r32. had a nismo sticker diagonally on the back right quarter panel. anyway, the lights went green, and the r32 lost traction for about a 1/4 second, then took off the lights and was off like a rocket. but the thing is, it didn't look like it was accelerating, it just looked like it was doing 80kph straight from the start! does anyone know this guy? this car flew. i've seen r32's and r33's and other turbo cars off the mark, but i reckon this thing ripped alot harder than others i've seen! cheers, MARK

thanks for the little tip missy it all makes sense to me now.. as for the licence, the ROAD TRANSPORT (DRIVER LICENCING) ACT 1998 says the RTA has to give me 28 days notice. so yeah, i gotta cop it sweet any one else driven to canberra? what time did you make it there in? i did 2h15m the other day. that ain't too bad. cheers, MARK

arghh bugger! i was hoping we could get a few people together. as for my licence, speeding long long time ago. that was 3 points. then this time, i misjudged the time for a red light. had an extra few hundred kilos in the boot. when i put the foot down, the car didn't accelerate hard enough through the lights, and FLASH. ah well, **** happens. so, i've got til september 6 to get rid of my driving bug! if anyone else does wanna meet up on the weekend, you can buzz me on 0402 287 773. i will be meeting up with a stock and also a turbo jap spec r31. cheers, MARK

G'Day Guys I'll be coming down on the weekend. Any chance we could meet up for a bit of a drive? Up to you guys, Saturday arvo, night, or Sunday would be good. Sometimes day time is good so you can see eachothers cars! I am losing my licence, but the RTA has told me I won't lose it til September 6. I rang them to bring the date forward, but they told me they by law, have to tell me with 28 days notice! how silly! anyway, would be nice to meet up. I will definitely be meeting with an r31 wagon and an import r31 GTS-X, so more later model skylines would be even more nice! Any thoughts? Cheers, MARK

G'Day Guys There is a R31 Skyline GTS-R for sale in Sydney. These are the TOP of the range of the R31. They have the RB20DET-R. It's the advanced version of the normal RB20DET. There were only 800 made in Japan, and somehow, one made it's way out here. The asking price is $18,000. Sounds expensive, but considering R31's are cult status in Japan and the last GTS-R sold for 900,000 yen, it's well worth it. They have a front auto spoiler, rear group a spoiler (gts-r's raced in group a in japan), are 2 doors, independent rear suspension, hicas, etc etc It has the works. If you're interested, email [email protected] genuine enthusiasts please. we are hoping this car gets bought by a good person,. not some wanker who just wants a fast car! cheers, MARK
