  1. freakin tander i'm one of these wankers who can't look past the disappointment of the events that marred last year's end of season (ie - the lowdnes/kelly schenanigans) ahh well we can only hope the ford teams find some form soon!
  2. Well, due to popular demand, I'm going to run another Group Buy on the R31 Adjustable Castor Rods - so far more than 30 pairs of these have been sold to r31club members nationwide - with very few custom R31 products available in Australia, these are excellent value for money. Ferds from 3rds Productions, who manufacture these rods has quoted me a 3-4 week turnaround time from order to final product delivered into my hands. In the past, the waiting times for these have blown out to 8 weeks, but with recent improvements to his workshop and staffing, he has assured me these will be done promptly. The main shaft is mild steel that is CNC machined at both ends, then drilled and zinc plated. The turnbuckle is hex bar, CNC machined at both ends, tapped and then zinc plated, as are the nuts, inserts and the chassis washers. The clevis assembly is laser cut, press bent and then powder coated in 3rds Productions blue. This picture of the Shaft assembly shows where the Rod can be adjusted by way of moving the position of the nuts. These Rods are a DIRECT replacement for your original existing Radius Rod, and installation is easy and self-explanatory. For the first time, this Group Buy will offer you: - Rods with the standard rose joint OR - Rods with the stainless steel rose joint The stainless steel joints have been offered for drivers who will be thrashing their car at the track (or other places) on a very regular basis. So, the pair of Adjustable Castor Rods with standard joint is $270 The pair of Adjustable Castor Rods with stainless steel joint is $340 (Yes both Rods come with clevis/bracket assembly. I just had one side off in this picture, that's all) Chris Easton who drives this HR31 coupe in Drift Australia has had the 3rds Productions Adjustable Castor Rods for well over a year. They are also installed in Fernando Wierhl's Sileighty and his newest car, Autosalon S15 (S13 & S15 Rods respectively). 3rds Productions have had price increases on their products lately due to unforseen rises in cost of materials etc, BUT have made it clear that these rods will remain at the above price so long as we can get 10 orders or more. I am aware there is already demand for thes rods as we speak, so once I have 10 payments in my account, I will set a cutoff date for any extra orders and then I'll ensure 3rds get cracking on churning them out. $15 will see the rods posted to your door. Also, for those who already have these Castor Rods but wish to upgrade to the Stainless Steel joints, the price will be $130. This will include the joints, and the inserts and lock nut - ready to swap over with your standard joint. __________________________________________ PRICES 1 x pair of Rods with standard joints - $285 (270 + 15 postage) 1 x pair of Rods with stainless steel joints - $355 (340 + 15 postage) 1 x pair of stainless steel joints - $135 (130 + 5 postage) My bank details are as follows: Westpac Acc Name: Mark Peter Dowsett Acc #: 567 776 Bsb #: 732 379 ***PLEASE PUT YOUR FORUM USERNAME AS REFERENCE WHEN YOU TRANSFER THE MONEY*** After the deposit, please pm me with your full name and address. any queries or questions, drop me a line cheers, MARK ______________ 1 - dsturbed [stainless steel] (awaiting payment) 2 - wheezy [standard] (awaiting payment) 3 - gts-x driftpig [standard] (awaiting payment) 4 - Drift Majik31 [stainless steel] (awaiting payment) 5 - racsov [standard] (awaiting payment) 6 - morgish [standard] (ALL PAID) 7 - pinni_man [standard] (awaiting payment) 8 - brentmcd12 [standard] (awaiting payment)
