i have heard many stories where these cheap ebay turbos go through peoples engines and then they are up for more than just a new turbo but a rebuild too. If you want a cheap turbo buy second hand from a trusted source. Or look into the KKR range.

when i had my rear cradle out i remember seeing something on the fuel line as soon as the line leaves the tank. I never bothered to pull it off but i wish i did. My guess is it is a strained for larger grit. I rang nissan and asked them and he told me they would only have 1 filter. But then again nissan have mislead me befor

well when u drive it does it feel like its on boost. Rev out second gear to around 6000rpm and if you feel the turbo kicking in then obviously turbo not stuffed... Maybe its your gauge itself...

try some loctite 587 or something, also known as ultra blue. then again a tube of that would probably cost as much as a radiator from the wreckers. Call around and see what they have. Maybe do some searches on the net to find what other car has the same radiator. Or even easier.. goto a radiator shop with radiator and just say i dno what this is out of its off my home made buggy but i need a replacement the exact size, then he will look in his book and tell u oh a vl commodore is the same.. etc.

no... unless your chasing rediculoud amounts of power... as hpi magazine said i think around 350kw they upgraded to a 100mm thick cooler. But no, keep your factory one!!

depends what you meen bettter. Id say it would be better than a JustJap or a china cooler. But a blitz or maybe hybrid cooler would be better. However if you already have a gtr intercooler and you not aiming at massive power... 280kw++ i would not even think about a upgrade

ok, so how do i test the resistor pack?? I just got one off my tuner for free. If i put a multimeter on each of the 6 blue wires.... what should it read... there is so many figures being thrown around but noone has said exactly what!! Please help, going to try and wire up tomoro

my mate has a rb20det with a std manifold. He has a huge fck off hks turbo and between the turbo n manifold flange is a external gate adaptor... ill try get pics.. Basically its all bolts on!

try a import car dealer oh this r32 looks nice, yoink... ahah no not really. Check to see why your fuse blew. Shouldnt just put in a new one without seeing the reason. Could be not so lucky next time and it will fry the loom or something....

ok, now evryone got me thinking... instead of porting out a rb20 head... wouldnt you be better off using a standard rb25 head... as someone said somewhere a ported 20 head will flow approx 80% of a std 25 head. Are a 25 head direct bolt on with rb20?? This may be a mod for me to think about in the not so distance future... only thing that would put me off is my plazmaman plenum for rb20... but thats ok i can cut and weld a rb25 flange onto my rb20 runners. sorry to hijack yourthread mate

well shit, rb20 does not have a standard boost solenoid??? So does that mean that i cant use the power fc boost control kit?? or is there a way around it.
