a mate bought a r33 s2 very clean, standard everything apart from jap catback. it had a nice set of 18s and lowering springs. Went into Mackay Toyota and they offered him $2500 ..... this was right after he bought it for $14k

not necassarliy cast. I have a plazmaman one on my r32 rb20 and it is billet alloy, just as a cnc machined bottom flange and the rest is folded into shape with smoothe corners and welded on. Greddy etc, have cast plenums. What engine is it for? Dont want to get a $250 greddy plenum off ebay and copy that?

if universal ones dnt suit you get some off another make of car that are similar. I used magna boots on my old silvia

sorry not too flash hot on electrics... should i just hook up the power cable to resistor to a 12v battery and then use a multi meter and measure each pin inside??

sweet as, good to see what u say, im hoping it will be similar but diferent to mine, i just got off the phone to a mate with a gtr and his had 2x21na stamped on where mine has a 4 digit number and his code was A15-000xxx i forget the last 3 but they wwere differnt to mine.

hello, While i was talking to my tuner about resistors for my injectors he handed me a resistor pack and said this "might" be out of a gtr. So i got some pics of it here and im just asking anyone with a gtr to please walk out to your car and read the numbers on this pack and tell me if mine are the same...

noise will depend on things like wall thickness of metal aswell as type of metal. Different mufflers have differnt internal designes which will either muffle more or less than others. Best to go with high quality mufflers as they usually flow better and muffle more

thanks alot... i half get that, i think ill wait for the_mafia aka pacey to help me out this wkend, but this should certainly be of help. Just one thing though... were does the map sensors goto now? Do they have to be spliced in with the boost controller map sensor?

Hello, As i have stated befor i have rb20det with a ecr33 gtr power fc d-jetro Now i just ordered a boost control kit for the fc. As far as i can understand from reading the boost control solenoid has a plug on it, which a cable plugs in and that cable must goto a standard boost control solenoid. Well the rb20det does not have one?? What can i do. Where should i plug this in or splice it in. I have checked most plugs in engine bay and none suit this plug. Pic is attatched. PS. the extra map sensor they gave me aswell as the extra cable.... should i just keep as spares.. cause im assuming you dont run 3 map sensors on a single turbo engine!

do rb26's have a standard solenoid?? Cause the pfc bc kit is made for gtr33 same as my ecu. So it probably wont come with a solenoid if a 26 has a standard solenoid. also that silver box, befor thinking it was a boost solenoid i think it might be a resister pack for something

yeah but i think i might have a problem, as fc and boost control kit is designed for a rb26 it should plug into standard 26 solenoid... but i wonthave one.. hmmm any other thoughts?

the pfc kit is meant to plug into the standard boost solenoid... has anyone with a rb20det and rb26dett pfc ever fitted the boost control kit? I havent got it yet its on its way, and computer is only half in, so i dont know which plugs come with it but im trying to sort it out befor i get it so its easy smoothe intallation

Hello, Just in the process of installing a rb26dett power fc into my rb20det and i have purchased a boost control kit and it has to plug into the standard boost solenoid. After a bit of a look around the engine bay i have found this thing with JECS written on it. I looked at a non turbo rb20 and it didnt have it so its looking good so far. Am i correct, is this the solenoid im after? Also wondering if anyone knows whether or not the rb26dett and rb20det have the same plug on the solenoid? thanks

hey, my fuel rail has a fuel pressure reg (stock) on feed side and drain comes out and goes to an aftermarket reg. My mates old engine i have in yard has a stock one at either side... should i put his on if i am removing aftermarket fuel pressure reg?? pics up soon

Hey, I purchased some gtr33 injectors and had the flow tested and cleaned and they are all good, everyone sais they are a straight fit into rb20 wiring loom but its no fitting!!!! whats going on!!! how do i get them too fit

yeah i like it. I think its good, just like a stagea almost... hahaa gtr suv... insnt that wat a stagea is. Agree not best looking but meh, bet it looks better in life.

dude search rb25s people have built, go through cars for sale etc. Can easily make 300kw safely which is more than enough, good for a mid 12. RB26 is a waste of cash unless u want a monster, better off selling and buying a gtr if your thinking of going that route, then you get better brakes, suspension, seats, and 4wd.

lancers have mad flutterz and spool noise. Buy a lancer and its a straight fit for a triton diesel turbo to go on. Will be faster, be more cuztom, and flutter way more. You dont deserve a nissan

hey, i am after the rb26 intake temp sensor. I rang nissan and he said they dont have them. I rang back and said it should be near the plenum (am i right?) and he said there is a sensor on the plenum and it is called a "Engine coolant temp sensor" and it screws into the plenum. Nissan part number is 22630. Cost is $96. Does that sound right or is it a different part? I have searched all over this site, cannot find a part number anywhere. I emailed greenline too cause i couldnt find it on their site and they said they dont have them, nor do they stock OEM parts... so im confused. cheers

Hey, Im in the market of an aftermarket steering wheel and i was just wondering is r32 gtst bosskits are the same as any others, such as r33 gtst. Also i did have hicas but i have removed it, do i need a hicas or non hicas bosskit ps. if you know off the top ofg your head the minimum legal size of steering wheel please tell me... for QLD cheers
