Hey, Pulling out my interiour atm while me car is off the road and have no lisence. Am fixing up wiring and adding some speakers and just give it a clean. Just wondering what this huge thing is in the middle of my parcel shelf. If it helps car is a 4 door gts-t 32

fark yeah nice effort. But my question is why an rb20 into an s14? Never heard of Z-Edition??? They dont come stock rb20det im guessing as its an older engine

Hello, I was thinking of buying a bodykit and hood and a few goodies for my car and a mates car off the net, directly from Japan. Concern is though does anyone know if there is like a set rate for Import Duties.. say 10% for goods under $2000, 15% under $3000 etc. Or is it just like a random tax? I was looking at getting a full kit, 2 hoods, and 2 pairs of front fenders and some s13 headlight covers. Freight will probably destroy the idea but does anyone know about import duties in customs. cheers

if u wanna make it real awesome weld some bars that join up all the strut towere through front firewall etc. Maybe even rip out dash and weld a new support bar through the dash replacing the stock one. Goodluck and post some pics

no R32s ive seen have done thiss? Including mine which hadnt started in over a month and we started it, idled for few mins then drove off still slightly cold. Kept it under 3000rpm and nothing felt odd.

unless your non turbo model is immaculate. Like someone else said needs brakes too. Best bet is to buy a halfcut, then u get front hubs n brakes and a turbo engine (stronger internals etc) Then all u need is rear brakes. Then again this will cost around $4000+ depending where u source parts... and then u got a few grand in labour... When u think about it. U can get a stock gts-t for $10,000 turbo manual these days. If your car is pretty good looking, rims, kit stereo etc.. Get a 10k loan, buy a new skyline already turbo, stock. Swap all your shizz over so u now have a deadly looking turbo skyline and sell ur non turbo one stock for $7500 to some random

if GTR is anything like GTS-T and has an airial in the windscreen... alot. But i hear you can get normal ones, just meens u wont hae radio. But i think autobahn has stick on antennas for rear windows.. universal fit. My guess is around $200-$250 ..... thats what a normal car is worth... dont see why gtr would be any more. Same as gts i guess?

steam clean is pretty safe but just like water keep it away from electricals as it will corrode them. Also for your plastics + hoses try dash&trim care, it makes them nice n shiny

got any pics of the drivers side rear 1/4>>?? mine has some slight damage and was considering a kit like that, just wondering how is comes up to fuel filler. Also bit of noob with skyline features (silvia man) and was wondering. Are those 4 door taillights or did some 2 doors come with them? If they are 4 door lights.. how u fit them?? yeah its a bitch aye. Try taking off the interiour panel and putting a really thin sheet of foam/sound deadening under it. Or maybe a drop of silicone over the metal clips so they dont vibrate

rear cradle has alot of surface rust yeah i know. I think from sitting for a while in long grass.. well... long enough to touch under car. Its been raining here alot for past few months. I got some camber arms off ebay. I paid $150 for them a while back for my silvia. They ran ok for 20,000km... now im sellin car. I see the same ones now for $80 delivered. There is toe arms on there that the guy sais beware of chineese copies and crappy rosejoints.... and they are $50 brand new haha. Alot of bidders though. I wonder if they would work. I know ive heard they break alot and im not doubting u.. but ive never seen any proof myself so im still considering some cheap camber and toe arms. Also does anyone know... i heard that s13 and r32 cradles are the same. Well s13's dont have hicas(some) so they dont have that tie rod at the back... Does that meen if i remove hicas i can get rid of that? Or should i just put a lock bar in? Just always thinking of ways to save some dollars and some KGs

just a piccy of my cradle where she is snapped and rusty Shell be nice when she is replaced with aftermarket arms! Had a look at hicas today when we got her up on car stands and it appears as if i may need a cap to fill the lines. Does anyone know what size (eg. -8) thanks

only thing i can think of that is not legal is there is no cat. Its straight through 3" with just a cannon on end. It has a fake cat but obviously emmisions and noise. I can get a roadie. Just worried... transport dont make u put the car through regency or whaterver they call it do they?

Hey I bought an r32 yesterday and its unregistered since april this year. Just wondering does anyone know the time limit that it is that u can rereg the car without a roady. And if its been to long now, and i need a roadie, i dont need transport department to look at it do i? cheers

exactly wha i was thinking. You have probably done a few too many 200km runs... heats ur rotors up... then they cool fast and the shape of the material warps .... u probably need to machine ur rotors. Try jack up your car and spin the tyre. U will hear it if its really warped.

Hey Im new to the forums. I just bought myself a R32 GTS-T RB20DET Manual.. upgraded from my SR20DE Auto Silvia. I bought a mates car and he crashed it into gutter and snapped rear subframe. Im buying a new frame, but i need all new arms too! While im doing that might aswell go aftermarket. So i know i can get cheap camber arms from ebay for around $80 delivered. Control arms i will keep stock (aftermarket too expensive) Just wondering though. The car has ABS and Hicas. I want to remove the hicas. Is it possible to ditch the hicas all together aswell as the toerods (tierods for hicas) And would they able to be replaced with s13 silvia toe rods. Im guessing no, as i look at it and it seems thought he tie/toe rods on r32 are longer so s13 toe rods wont fit. Like i said befor... i wanna completely remove hicas. I know a lockbar will disengage it... but can i do more? What should i do with all the lines etc there. Pictures and comments welcome. cheers
