looks like those precision pistsons u can get for like $300 a set

evening, just finishing the oil feed for my 30 realised i dont have the oil pressure sensor plug that leads away from the block (the plug/wire thru the firewall) now am i going to have to wire something up? does this lead to the ecu or to the dash? also i have a microtech ecu -ive been told they dont use the knock sensors!? is this the story with the oil pressure sensor as well? cheers

had a look around but couldnt find enough info on this.. i have a greddy fwd facing plenum with 25det head, my tuner told me to look into using top feed injectors with top feed rail. my question is, what rail etc can i use, will a GTR fuel rail bolt on without modifying? or a hks (etc) brand suited for GTR? ... ebay rails? what about the clips etc? - im not worried about impedence as i have a microtech ecu. surely there are people running these.. if anyone has pics of top feed injectors in their rb25's thatd be awesome cheers

have u ever built an motor? i got mine back from the machine shop yesterday with a bill of near 3k just for machining/labour.. its also the time and effort to aquire the parts, big fkn headache can take months etc

i had something similair happen with a bogan in a vy commodore, he tried to overtake me so he pulled across onto the other side of the road failing to realise there are islands blocking him from getting back. -lucky no one was on the road. got out of his car etc long story i went to cop shop they said "that car is registered to an old man, i suggest u just drop it" ... dont u have a 4wd? should have just rammed him.. ur gona have to call insurance for repairs anyway

its getting there i have a q45 90mm throttle body, would that be over kill? create flat spots etc? or should i just stay the stock 70mm (rb25)

sure will mate, i bought these originally for a series 1 rb25det. pull out ur old ones drop these into ur standard fuel rail and re attach plugs, no modifying harness, wires or anything. piece of cake

agree and disagree good find with the 30 bottom end! i love how ppl say "u can find rb30's for $50!" took me 3 months to find one n cost alot more than $50.-wreckers even wanted $750 for a 30e in a written off VL! if ur going to build/forge go 30det over 2.7ltr but yeah there are things to consider: compression, height, modifying the head, vct etc, head gasket, engine not licensed etc etc etc did my head in for about 6months, glad its almost over!

anyway u look at it comes down to how much $$ u got, rb30s arent as cheap as ppl lay out (ask my wallet) it depends if u wanna do it right or if u wanna do it dodgy n replace ur 30e bottom end 1ce a year. if u do go down that path come buy an rb25 head off me i have 2 spares

wow have i stumbled into a thread full of people who own stock skylines? no one has -external wastegates, screamer pipes, bov's & catch cans that vent to atmo, charcoal canisters taken out, engine bays with air breathers and gutted cats? and i thought i was the only one
