  1. I wish i didn't love my car so much, because then i could drive into these people on principle... Slowly of course. But enough to say "Hi! this is my lane, f**k off if you're not going to indicate". And tell insurance i sneezed or something
  2. Fantastic work. Dunno if i'd do it, but i appreciate the hard work.
  3. why are your inside rears orange? i'm 99-100% sure mine aren't...
  4. that's true, there's some fantastic classics in perth. i'd pay anything for a good lane on the fwy and for people that know how to merge -.-
  5. good or bad opinions aside, this is the only pointful advice.
  6. I just finished cable tieing the f**k out of it. Weirdly it feels more solid than before. Clips would be nice, but i think i'll wait till tommorow.
  7. thx m8, yeah it's not that bad, it would probably be drivable if i put the bumper back on, but one of the mounting brackets is bent, one of the screw holes is ripped open on the bumper and i'll need two new clippy things.
  8. my r34 from dcimports gets my tick of approval. it had a problem with the coils sometime after purchase but that's it. sweet car.
  9. Okay so I was in Karrinyup shops and some c$&t reversed into my r34. Dented the front bumper and a little bit of bent metal underneath. Does anyone know where I can source another bumper and about how much it will cost? Extra points for a rocket propelled grenade launcher and 4wd tracker system -.-
  10. thanks for the replies fellas. i got a driving course coming up soon, should get my moneys worth outta that. so i gotta pick up some t1r's and check the camber. i haven't locked off hicas, does anyone find it to be troublesome in the wet? or at all really? cause this car is a daily driver for me, so i dont need to lock it off for performance reasons.
  11. and I was on the way up to the petrol station. was on the road, going 50km/h, braked down to 30, entered roundabout, got halfway through, let go of accelerator, turned to go around and started to lose the back end, corrected twice and was back on the road. OMG HEARTATTACK. apart from my driving errors, what should i look at to fix the traction problems? tyres obviously, hicas maybe? the thing should be serviced anyway at this point. auto r34 gt
  12. ah nvm, i found something that can help instead. http://www.welltall.com/ymc/discovery/car/shiftpt.html f**k me, simulating a car in math is hard!
  13. Is there anywhere I can get a graph or data points on the torque curve of a stock r34 gtr? my google-fu is failing me and i don't have a gtr lying around.
  14. awesome, thanks
  15. who sells 'em?
  16. Hi, I just bought a battery to replace the old one in my skyline that's been sitting around for 6months. Problem is, the terminals are too big for the clamps to fit around. Is there anything that can be done about it? Maybe rewire some new clamps or something? Also if i need to grab a different battery, what specs do i need? any particular CCA or anything? thanks -some noobie guy EDIT: oh right, it's a '98 r34
  17. ah yes, little red button. worked beautifully!
  18. just tried again, yeah with my foot on the brake it goes into neutral, but pushing it is an absolute bitch, I swear it was nowhere this immobile last time. soooo I'm charging an extra battery and am going to jump start off that. plenty of petrol in the car, so should be fine, just gotta wait for the chaaarge. oh yeah, I'm in WA.
  19. Newbie question (I'm guessing), but my r34's battery's dead but it won't seem to get into neutral (or leave park). Need to move the car under cover and managed to park it spectacularly badly, so that can't actually jumpstart it with another car. The car just makes that ticking noise when I try to start it and the battery dies pretty quickly on average, so I'm pretty damn sure it's the battery (radio & clock still works, just car won't start). The gearstick locks up though and can't get it out of park. Will probably take battery out and charge it with a charger thingy if nothing else works, any advice welcome!
