Matt is you car for track only? if not i'm surprised no one on here has mentioned it being a illegal to have no cat. if you still want to proceed look up a DE-CAT basically looks like a cat but its hollow. Good luck with it

I'm curious as to why so many use PFC but Dan from Redline EFI dislikes them. is there any other tuners or users here who are against PFC's??

Isn't it illegal to remove an Airbag Steering wheel if it came from factory with one?

Spoke to Dan from Redline EFI today He said not to bother with Power FC and look at getting a NisTune. Aprox $1100 includes ecu, install, tune. For a R33 i will need a Z32 ECU or AFM or Haltech ECU for $1795 not including fitting and tuning. he gave me a estimated price on it being fitted and installed and said $880 to be safe. He didn't say the Nistune was bad compared to haltech but they had their pro's and cons.

Well on the Gold Coast Gavin Wood is a very reputable tuner and has be known for working GTRs one particular car is the TOP RPM 33GTR anyway he said it may take few hours o tune so he maybe said 700 to be safe.

Hey Trent Ive read some of your threads and you seem to be knowledgeable with the ecu's So from what you can see on the dyno reading i posted and the mod list on my car. what do you propose I invest in? I think i will be going down the modifying direction with my GTS-T to make it a fun street car. but thats about it.

Hey guys On the market for a ECU and I dont have much experience with ECU's so thought I'd post up on SAU for assistance budget is around 1500 I lost a bid on a Power Fc with hand controller cause it went over my max bid of 1100 (used condition) I wanted a Motec as I've been told they are the best and also universal but they are very expensive. Got my eye on the Greddy E-manage Ultimate at the moment which ive seen around the $800 mark. How do they compare to the rest of the ECU market and why are they more reasonably priced. Have they got less features?? I remember reading somewhere on this forum where some ranked ecu's as such Motec Haltech Apexi Power Fc and whatever others in between and below hope someone can shed some light on the topic Thanks

i wouldn't bother buying that. you will spend more money on fixing it then modding it.... its stock for one so its gonna be a money pitt to spend on if you decide to do it up. if the paints fading its gonna cost you a pretty penny to respray. who cares if boot is tidy is that what will be pulling your car around? you need to compression test on the engine and see if the engine is running good.. sunroof weakens the chassis so unless your just cruising in it its not a benefit. FAST ------- CHEAP -----REALIABLE Pick two obviously in your case you are picking cheap and fast. wont have much reliability by the sounds of it. PS it would be a good project car but not for a daily.

Lol yeh except most my friends are 32 lovers. Ive decided to stick with the good ol 33 and show them it can be just as good if not better then the 32's
