  1. thanks, so no chance that there's an alternative that works with it... just a stab in the dark really
  2. at 155000 yen these are very cheap can anyone explain what you'd use with this?
  3. Excellent idea, i never even considered using the second stage of the pump for a cooler. Thanks
  4. Did you modify the inside of the power steering pump or just block the outlet and leave as is? How many have left as is and had a pump failure, or is it still going strong after x months. Thanks in advance for any feedback B)
  5. It's got a bee-r rev limiter set to 7000rpm
  6. Glad your all liking it B) the cars pretty stock really, just exhaust, downpipes, filters, feast racing ecu, standard tubbies at 1 bar. Using falken fk451 tyres and tein coilovers that were set full soft at the rear and full hard at the front. lol yep it's a bnr32 but when i first got into skylines i had an r32 gtst and gtst lad kinda stuck.
  7. Did two runs one was 4.15 and the one on the video is 4.76 0-60 mph sprint B)
  8. They're a fairly simple thing so should be fairly reliable but i've owned a skyline of one kind or another since early 2002 and had 2 afms die on me in that time, tbh it's hard to say how reliable they are as there's no real centralised info. Symptoms of failure would be cutting out under load, stalling etc etc and this could be very intermittent depending upon the actual afm fault. Replacement standard, used afms can be had for very little, sub $100 but it's always a gamble of being a dud... then at the far end you could go for the z32 or q45 afm with supporting mods or afm'less with the right ecu... plan for the long term. it's better to use aftermarket stuff if your ultimate plan for your car says it's better in the long run
  9. Nice find :uh-huh:
  10. ok found this out now, 4mm is the new thickness and aparently once they get below 3.5mm it's time to think about an overhaul. Guess i'll be sourceing some more clutch plates before fitting this then..
  11. Can anyone tell me what thickness new clutch plates ought to be and how thin you'd let them go before changing them? Got roughtly 2.5mm left on each plate of my os giken twin.
  12. Yep removed all the deadening, took forever and used a paint scraper and sandpaper was a real nightmare job. Not run it down the strip yet, since its been stripped anyway.
  13. cheers buddy, it's coming on slowly
  14. Yep still power windows untill i can afford lexan replacements, the controls are relocated/hidden under the dash and it's wired so that there's the one set of controls for both sides. Passengers need to beg when i fart in the car.. lol
  15. It's a trust/gracer with a custom grill, cheers buddy
  16. Yep it's my daily driver
  17. lol... i may of understated that....
