have rang up the rego department about converting a non turbo to a turbo. have thought about doin it myself. the brakes need upgradiing, exhaust emission test plus you have to apply to regency for what else needs to be done. its also up to them if the car needs a full inspection which means it would have to be converted back to stock and the upgrades fitted. if you paid 12.5k for it you could be looking at 16k by the time you buy parts and get ppl to fix it. then the paint issue and rust. looking at 20k to get the car on the rd and to look clean.

list a price that its actually worth and it will sell soon. these cars are sweet but very cheap.

is the car registered as a rb25det yet or still non turbo with non turbo brakes??? if its been reg with all the turbo stuff it would be an ok price if rust and paint repaired.

my friend got defected to regency on the weekend. she got pinged for an oil leak and horn not working. the car is yes a commonwhore but almost stock and very very clean inside and out. she has 16s on it and a cat back exhaust the only mods. tis funny as her oil leak wasnt actually a leak. it was the typical breathing through the seals in the rocker cover as all cars do. was moreso a gathering of road shit than anything. they just wanted to defect a mother of one with two kids in the car. now she has no car and no money to pass regency. bad luck for the kids hey. luckily her bro is a mechanic and does everything 100%. some cops need to do there research and i think they really should take a basic mechanical workshop to find out what real things are. this is only some tho. others i wouldnt dare to question.

hi i have a postie bike or honda ct110 up for sale. made in november 2005 with only 27480km only bought this a short time ago but looks like it will be no use to me shortly. looks like i will be working at nuri in a lil while so the bike i bought to use for work wont be of use to me. has been used to go to work which is a 90kmh zone and handled it fine. as it says it is capable of 120kmh but i dont like pushing it near it. cheap as chips on fuel. tested it today. i did approx 60km on 1.25l of fuel. which was $2 as i run BP ultimate. it has near new tires. has a obvious motor upgrade. 140cc lifan 4 stroke engine with manual clutch. approx $500 oil cooler to help cool the air cooled engine. stock engine was just air cooled and had no oil cooler. has blinker buzzer. had a pit bike exhaust on it when i got it but have moddified it to quieten it down. now sounds similar to my bro KTM 250. still have the stock exhaust. all exhausts come with it. moddified bigger carby and sports filter on it. near new chains and sprockets. no wear at all. after market gear lever and clutch lever as they came out centrifical clutch not manual clutch. has a box of spares, including new tube, old motor, some bash plates, stock carby, nuts, bolts vaccuum and fuel lines etc etc. rego till september. papers including transfer of rego with the 140cc motor installed and regestered. the only thing the bike may need is a new battery and im still thinking of buying this. only like $30 from supercheap i think. im asking $1600 aprox the quicker the better. ill use the cash for house reno's. i move in 2 weeks

ha ha that kit is a major fail. reminds me of the add on tv where the father and son are bored and adds the cardboard kit onto her volvo. y the hell would you have a rear spoiler that is the same height as your roof??? its stupid. especially the ones on the WRX's.

problem with the rb30 pumps is that they are not used to the rpm that the 20/25's make. remember the rb30 revs to loke 5.5k. my old 25 had a limiter of 8.5k. the shaft the connects the fan to the bearings is smaller on the rb30 compared to the rb20/25 etc. thats cause that shaft brakes and sends your fan into your radiator and screws the lot. and yes that 1 bolt hole. other than that the price is heaps diff. its your choice do you take your chance or not??

ha ha i just bought one of those bikes tis sweet for jumping and pullin the front wheel up.

have rb25 turbo needing rebuild. has bearing noise and is a lil smokey under boost. hard to tell really as the car was over fueling too. just got taken off of the car on sunday and was still boosting quite fine. was only replaced due to really fussy female owner. would be awesome to highflow or use to get past regency. throw me some offers via pm.
