spoke to mark today about his VE TT. i just wanna see that thing go. even better on the dyno. recons its go sooooooo much torque and is so hard to keep the tread on the tires and not leave it on the rd.

have my 89 r32 ts got 240 rwkw on 15psi with heaps more potential. -rb25 motor and gearbox. -fmic -has 102,000 on chassis motor not sure. -been told it has a mod diff but not sure. done before import -aftermarket fuel pump. not sure what it is done before import -remapped r32 ecu for rb25. remap was for standard smic, airbox and turbo as well as stock dump and stock exhaust to cat. ran 200rwkw on 10psi rev limiter reset, no boost cut and no top speed cut if remapped to new mods would make much more power. -to4e top mount turbo with custom install -turbo beanie. just been installed 1 week ago -turbosmart pro gate 38 external wastegate with slip piece for screamer or plumb into exhaust -full exhaust with custom dump -ebc with high low boost. low is 10psi high is 15psi. -ebc also has turbo timer not connected as well as boost guage output for nos and or water spray or what ever you want. peak boost and average boost current running voltage. other stuff i cant remember. tein ha coilovers. cusco sway bars. f*kn massive about 35mm for front and rear nismo 260kph dash doesnt look like its been tampered with. flared rear guards to fit 18x11's which are on it atm. upgraded 32 interior with no rips or tears. genuine gtr front bar panasonic head unit 2x jbl amps jbl splits 2x jbl subs in custom box jbl rear 2way speakers momo steering wheel have a 5inch tacho with shift light not installed. i have the import approval papers regency paperwork for compliance etc. was insured for 17k full comp but since then added front bar, stereo, wheels, suspension, ebc, turbo prolly a few more things that i cant remember. goin for full paint in 3days.

i have a blue 4dr but wasnt there. so wasnt me seen HSVEEATER today also that tool in the black 3000gt. so jdm yo with all my stickers and pot rivited on rear spoiler. look at me i have a bov and cant drive.

hey im having problem with my rb25det. under 1/4 throttle there is no problem and will rev right out but anything over 1/4 throttle my car seems to cut out just when it hitting boost. even with free reving. i have changed the afm, crank angle sensor, ignitor, external wastegate, throttle sensor. i gained an exhaust leak out of the manifold as i have just changed engine and screwed up a lil there. the car was running previously on 11psi via the external wastegate spring and everything was fine. since then i have changed it to a turbo smart external gate runnin 7psi so it cant be a boost cut issue. it like the ecu is cutting the injectors but why??? does anyone have any ideas on what it could be???

i have an rb25det in my 32.it was done in japan but is well worth it. i still hav the r32 loom and comp in it just it has been chipped so it can be done easily. not sure on the whole bit about wiring it in but it can be done, just the remap on the 32 ecu. having the 32ecu and loom is better that the 33 as its easier to moddify the ecu. i had 197rwkw runnin 10psi and still had the stock airbox and smic.

cars idle not being steady isnt to much of a problem. MIGHT be the idel sensor needs cleanin. maybe just a dam good serice of everything eg plugs or a coilpack that might be slowly on its way out. maybe get an electro scan on the ecu. clutch fuse needs replacing all the time could mean an elect problem or that the mechanism that throws the clutch out to connect so it all works couldbe stuffed so that COULD mean a new pump. that is only a maybe tho. could be some other things. is the AC a big deal to you tho. if not dont worry about it -
i have an r32 with rb25 in it and mine dies to but only if i accelerate and then stop quickly for lights. it always has. ive been told its my idle sensor needs cleanin but haven been bothered to do it. try checkin that

yea definatly wasnt the motor. i got the car running now. worked out that it was the connection to the ecu. it was on tight but not tight enough. i was scared that i might do it up to tight last time but this time i just ripped it up and pushed all the wires down in the plug, so it was a connection problem there. spent hours goin over the vehical tryin to find this problem. thanx for tryin to help the car is now goin in for tune. looking for 240rwkw @ 12psi

hey ive just taken out an rb25det and put another motor in as it shit itself. now the motor is in i have found that its got no spark in cyl 5 & 6 and it runns ike a pig and only will rev to 3.5k. ive changed the coil packs, spark plugs, crank angle sensor, ignitor etc anyone got any ideas that can help???

thanx for that. hope the sale on yours goes well too. least you know what your talkin about you even taught me somthing never mind others. he he well i have to give u respect, you were man enough to appoligise and i think very highly of u for it. thanx and yes your right we do learn new things each day. and to the others get ya facts straight before you open ya mouth. this motor also is not standard for this car. it came with a 20 in it but was modified for the 25. sorry i didnt mention it before but it also has to have r33 brakes on it as specified to suit modified road vehicle regulations which was checked by regency about 2 months ago, which also involves a vehicle emissions test done by synergy motorsport. still have reciepts for that and regency (vis) inspection report. does anyone have to see a pic of the engine number to prove it to them as that can be done too. i have nothin to hide so if u have a question be nice and not be a wanker like some of the low lifes out there.

if you look as it says it has a regod rb25 in there and vehical inspection has seen this car about 2 months ago. so if you dont know shut up and stop trying to ruin my thread. also get your facts right not all rb25's have variavble cam timing. look on the timing cover. do you see rb20 written on there. no u dont so unless you know do the right thing and shut up. and rinmak as it says above dr drift did the conversion and the remapped ecu. 180rwkw @10psi which is more that most rb20's out there but yet a very safe and conservative tune. is only a start as you can get much more. if you drove this car you would know the difference straight away. rb25's have much more torque than the 20's and that makes a hell of a lot of difference.

you are right it does look like a rb20 it has rb20 manifolds on it and also has the 20 coil pack cover on it. has just passed vehical inspection not long ago and is regoed as an rb25. just another thing to keep it easy to shake off the cops.
