  1. Try get a variable resistor and plug it into the terminals at the fuel tank. Turn your ignition on move the resistor and see if your gauge moves. If it does then your fuel sender is nackered. If it still doesnt it could be a wiring fault between the fuel sender and your instrument cluster or the cluster itself may be nackered. From memory you can get variable resistors from somewhere like dicksmiths for a few dollars. Not to sure which terminals to prob but, you may need a wiring diagram for that. Hope that helps a bit?
  2. Just purchased a tomei pump. The new HKS pump is meant to have an even higher flow rate then the tomei pump, and also carries the pressure valve on the outside of the pump. Think it may cost the same as the tomei one too!
  3. Mine has done the same. I recently purchased a whole heap of spare 32r parts for 40 bucks, the dash was included in those parts. This one has a small bubble on it too. I think i might just bite the bullet and buy a brand new one. There around the $900 mark.
  4. A contact number would be awsome if you could?
  5. If you need to get your head checked, faced, cleaned, valve guides replaced, valve seat re cut and set all back up, Where would you take it ? haha
  6. +1 for southsides. They currently have my bottom end. Torque plate bored/honed full balance and blueprint, crank linished and grub screwed
  7. Ok thanks for that, what do you mean by the short side radius?
  8. AMAZING car man. How are you liking the gtrs's? do you find them laggy at all? What suction pipes are you running. Im trying to source some ATM and do not know which ones to go for?
  9. +1 fpr RHD japan. I got qouted around the 1k mark for front and rear window mouldings and seals. I just picked up the front one for about 200 bucks. Gonna put a generic on for the rear window when it gets put back in. Very helpful guys to with fast shipping

  11. Ive seen a few different versions of the kit. Doesnt the NEO kit come with pretty much everything (manifolds, rail, injectors, braided lines etc?)
  12. Thanks for that, what do you mean by the short side radius? How far should i lower the divider, about 10mm?

  14. Just interested to see if anyone out there is using these turbos and their feedback about them.
  15. Just finished the porting, who wants pics?
  16. Seeing this vehicle in the flesh with the 20inch miesters on it realy changed my mind about chrome wheels. This thing lookd f***ing insane!
  17. Is that VHT wrinkle paint i see? Amazing car BTW
  18. Bought a pretty cheap HKS temp gauge, reason for it being cheap is that the temp sender is snapped of the end. Just wanting to know if you can replace the wire from the back of the gauge?
  19. Haha i know, i mean 3 wheels not sets. The sad thing was 2 of those wheels came off the same vehicle, one after the other. Im very confused why nissan would replace these and knock the OP's claim back. But its must be a common issue to you through that many already.
  20. I know where you are coming from here. I thought they actually called for the item rather then judged it by pictures. The reason for them paying for a percentage of that is purely for goodwill. We have cars that come in that are out of warranty, and nissan will often pay a percentage of the repair/parts cost out of goodwill. Things they also take into consideration are things like has this problem occured previously which im pretty sure it hasnt ( Ive asked the question on the nissan technicle forum for you). See how your results go from the engineerer and take it from there.
  21. I actually work for nissan, and if they have had it at nissan head office and have had one of there engineerers inspect this and it gets knocked back, theres obviously a reason why. We have had about 2/3 new 370z wheels crack around the spokes, and these always get replaced under warranty (as its a pretty common issue). I really dont think too many people have cracked r35 wheels at all. I can raise the issue for you if you like with nissans technicle forum, and maybe even ask the engineers themselves. But believe me, if they knocked it back, they have pure cut evidence this is not a manufacturing defect!
  22. better be safe then sorry? Id be doing all the oil control mods as soon as you can ?
  23. We get diesel engines in at work that do much the same thing. Hydro lock, pull at the glow plugs and it will be full of fuel. Always replace the injectors. Id say best bet would be to test the injectors cause there probly leaking back, and this would be a much easier solutions then looking into the engine/fuel control side of things?
  24. sorry to dig up an old thread, but for those who are having problems with this http://www.xs-engineering.com/xsstore/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=14&idproduct=12106
