  1. HAHAHA if only he would return a phone call he could have driven arguably the best GTR in the country, but NOOOOOOOO. Oh well, his tough titties! The driver we have lined up will be right at home in the R35 and he will be very very fast at EC. I just hope he can fit in the seat......
  2. We are going to be posting up exclusive images of Mark's R35 GTR build and dyno/testing videos (when the car is finished of course!)on our new and improved website that went live yesterday! Check MERCURY MOTORSPORT for more details.
  3. Work on the cage is progressing, with the front legs, dash bar, roof support and top cross bracing being done today. Only 6 weeks till testing......
  4. World Time Attack is the focus for the build at the moment, however I am sure we will get a chance to run it at the drag strip after that. With the weight reduction and expected power, it will be well into the 9's.
  5. Mercury 3" Dump Pipes, Mercury 3.5" Centre pipe with muffler and Willall titanium rear section.
  6. I will take them. Give me a call on 0402 421 437 to make the arrangements. Cheers, Trent
  7. We have new sets of 740cc in stock from a little as $150 per injector.
  8. Not every one wants to run e85, and with the qld climate, the larger fmic's make a lot of sense as does installing a larger radiator. There are plenty of different ways to get power/torque out of these GTR's, is just comes down to personal preference, budget and local conditions. We take a lot of time to communicate with our clients and work on a custom solution that suits them and how they plan to enjoy their car.
  9. We have just finished off a R35 GTR for a customer, and these are the mods we did:- Willall spec turbo upgrade Mercury Motorsport custom 3.5" custom dump pipes Mercury Motorsport custom 3.5" mid pipe AMS front mount intercooler Willall trans fluid COBB Access port with custom tune by Mercury Motorsport Result 544hp on 18psi, 98 octane. (std fuel pumps, std injectors) The car is far from loud and its simply a monster on the street. Better than standard boost response and 150hp more at the wheels! I personally would add a cat back to the above combination however the above was done to keep it quiet at the request of the client.
  10. I have the carbon rear diffuser available off our R34 GTR. call or sms on 0402 421 437.
  11. We might part with "Nitto" for the right money. Lightning Yellow 2000 R34 GTR V Spec with 800kw @ all four (1072hp). Give me a call on 0402 421 437.
  12. How much do you want to spend? I have a 2000 model, V-Spec, lightning yellow. 1071hp@wheels, offers over $100,000.
  13. Hi Guys, i need a factory R32 GTR front bar for a car I am building, I don't care what colour as i will be painting the car. Would like one that hasn't been cut out and with a lower lip if possible. Contact me on 3352 3363 or 0402 421 437. Cheers, Trent
  14. ATI Balancer for sure. They have a 600hp or 1000hp version. This is what we use on all of our built engines, including NITTO.
  15. Here is a vid of "NITTO" on the dyno and also a great flame show by Mark's "GTR R35" at the Gold coast Auto salon.
  16. Here is a video of the first run at Autosalon on the dyno.
  17. In an rb25 R33 we made 604rwhp on a GT35R with 1.06AR, but had to use E85 to get it there. That is the highest we have had from a GT35R. The same car makes 535hp on 21psi on pump.
  18. Big ones. We were just going to use a Zex wet, single fogger kit which we already have here, controlled by the ECU to turn on and off based on rpm and boost. For spool up, that should be pretty easy to achieve.
  19. The engine is designed for serious horsepower, so there has to be a fair number of compromises along the way with the build to ensure it will handle what we plan to do with it. One of those compromises is response. There are many factors, but some of them are comp ratio, camshaft size, camgear tuning, exhaust manifold sizing, the size of the turbo etc. We will be compensating for this with a shot of NOS, to get the car onto boost, hopefully around the 5500rpm mark. That would make the setup a lot more enjoyable, although it is pretty freakin cool when it comes on! BTW, there is no lag between gears. It falls back onto full boost.
  20. 200hp @ 6000rpm, 800hp @ 7000rpm.
  21. Thanks Dave, We were extremely happy to get 1000hp on E85, not sure if that had been done before, but to push it further now we are switching to c16 and more boost. The engine had perfect compression after the power cruise event, so we are happy to step up the power and see how it goes. Obviously the GT4788R is a big turbo, so there should be plenty of room to move from its current power figure. Fingers crossed it performs well at Autosalon. If it does, we will make the trek to Autosalon Sydney with a few more goodies added to it to go even further.
  22. We are seriously considering it.
  23. Good vid!! I really wanted to stretch its legs in 4th but there just wasn't enough room. It was hard enough getting space to max out 3rd, and that is when its starting to feel really strong.
  24. I the last month, we have replaced 3 such manifolds due to massive overboosting issues. I would get a refund and invest in a well made manifold to suit your application. You will also need a decent sized wastegate, something like a turbosmart 50mm. Spend a little bit more money once and you will reap the benefits in reliability, response and also power.
