  2. I've heard rooms are all most booked if not fully booked already? Just what I have been told by someone who works for Tourism Queensland.

  4. knore, I doubt you will make 230rwkw on stock injectors, in which case you'll need aftermarket injectors and an aftermarket ECU to control them, from what I've read the SAFC will freak with bigger injectors.
  5. - Front/Dump pipe & hi flow cat. - Air filter partition & feed. - Suspension & sway bars.
  6. Now they look the shizznitz! Dare I ask how much they cost?
  7. Ahhh. Mine are 18 x 7.5 Manaray Sport VR5 Voltec's, 32 offset. They clear the factory calipers easily.
  8. Any sort of deep dish seems to look the sh*t on 'lines... 50mm+. INASNT's, are alright, would look better in polished silver or black I reckon, but they look lightweight anyway.
  9. While were showing off new rims, heres my newbies...
  10. While were on the topic of fuel pumps is it just me or do other people notice that their cars seem to have more power after filling up? As opposed to 1/4 or 1/2 a tank. I noticed this when my car had both 145 & 185 at the wheels. Is it likely the factory fuel pump is struggling when low, or stale week old fuel, or just more weight in the back giving more downforce pressure/traction?
  11. Is that the place across from the hot rod and hardcore workshops?
  12. Awww noice! Where do you live/work Darrin, I can drop the cash off?
  13. Gary, keep in mind if you drive to Sydney to get it tuned, then after a week or so something plays up with the tune (which isn't uncommon), it means you'll have to drive back again? Food for thought...

JiVE, could you get a close up pic of the black 33?
  15. Their pretty nasty in the wet as already stated, but last a looong time. They are also the same tread pattern and wear levels as the Nankangs, but the Nankangs are significantly cheaper. I paid $235 each for 18/265 rears & $185 each for 18/235 front Nankangs. So yeah, there cheap and nasty.
  16. Rear plastic bit of car that says 'S K Y L I N E'. Also, radiator reservoir bottle & cap. Thanks
  17. "This Flashtac product is available at Bunnings and maybe other hardware stores and cost about $20 for 10m"
  18. Ahhh ok, so it doesn't time you until you launch, thats good. Taking your reaction time into account, should I launch on a certain 'light'. Thanks.
  19. New rims go on tomorrow so with a balance & allignment it will hopefully sort out my violent vibration issues at 110+. Unitil the next T&T, I have the G-Tech and a certain vacant cain field road out Jacobs Well way in mind for some practice

If its this one (Your first post is confusing) then put me down.
  21. Very interesting. Thanks all for the constructive feedback.
  22. Would like to take my 33 down the strip some time soon, but have never honestly done a burnout in my life. I should be doing a burnout before a run to get some heat in the tyres for a better gripping launch right? Should I begin with no burnouts to start off with? So how do you initiate a burnout. What footwork is involved? How embarrashment  Thanks for any tips.
  23. Would like some tips on keeping chromies protected against brake dust. My rears are spotless but fronts dont look to flash, any tips on getting a good shine back?
  24. Same thing happened to me out of the blue, when turning to left or right at 9 or 3 o'clock. I had something flopping around inside the steering wheel which I thought was shorting it or something. I still haven't had it fixed, as they f**ked my airbag when trying to sort the horn problem and i never went back. So now I have no horn or airbag. You could remove the horn fuse for the meantime. Let us know if you find out the problem?
