Been trying to find what size offsets will be safe for a 33 GTSt with 18", but you can imagine what comes up when you search for 'offset'. So the details; 18 x 7.5 Front - 235 Rear - 265 5 - 114.3 Offset 32 My guards are rolled already Will they fit Ok? Thanks

This little device was in my car when I bought it, I've asked numerous people what it is but no ones really had any idea? strutto, suggested it was an AFC or ITC, as the wires were pretty much hooked up to what an AFC would be. Anyone got any definate ideas?

103mm seems a bit overkill? Wouldn't 70mm be ample, unless pushing over 300rwkw?

Yeah its a good setup little setup, however I dont think my issues above are related to the the DIY BC. It holds boost well and has not spiked at all, unlike my old Turbosmart one which spiked like a mother (but it was pretty old). Cost <$110 all up for the parts, which were sourced through Norgren in Brisbane.

I went for another test drive and gave it an absolute canning, then it went back to normal and is fine now. Maybe it was a build up or something?

I just took it for another drive, idle was back to 600, but after boosting idle rose to 900 and remained. Besides the DIY, i've only ever used the turbosmart dual stage boost controller, the turbosmart spikes if punched hard.However the DIY builds at a steady rate once adjusted and seems to hold better, and has yet to spike.

I installed the Autospeed DIY boost controller last night and did some extensive testing to get it working the way I wanted. I set it up for a max of 12 PSI, with no spiking and bringing on boost at a steady level. I had done about 45km's with it setup like this, then all of a sudden today the car started to idle at 900rpm, which is about 300rpm more than normal. So I plugged my old Turbosmart BC in and it still did the same thing. Reset the ECU but still nothing. Its still making boost and driving fine. I might let it cool down before trying again, but anyone got any ideas what could be causing it to idle higher? Thanks for any help.

How long did they have your car for? My cars been to Gavins for servicing before, but when I rang up a week or so ago to book in for an SAFC install/tune I was told they would need the car for 2-3 days, I know there mega busy but WTF! I promptly rang another workshop for it to be done in a couple of hours.

Thats sucks. Dont take offence to what I'm about to say, but I'd never leave my 'line at Chady of all places. Especially if I worked their and people noticed it was always parked in a certain area at certain times. Hope it turns up.
