My folks back in Melbourne are having a bit of a mid-life crisis, there soon to buy a Z convertable. Bit of a jump from a Pulsar. I'm on the first plane back for a test drive me thinks. Cops just busted me doing 73 in a 60 zone, great way to kick off the weekend, why is it I never get fines in the 'line, but in the GF's Accent?!

In my case it made my idle rougher and caused minor surges, but this was plumbed back...I originally had an older style Turbosmart Type II BOV which caused a rough idle and surging. I went back to the factory BOV and the rough idle and surging went away completely, however as already mentioned it just wasnt as snappy. So I did the screw mod, there was a noticable difference, but it idled a little rough and was surging again but not as bad.

In my case I went from a Turbosmart BOV back to Factory BOV and noticed a difference for the worse. There was a noticable drop in responsiveness, however blocking off the Factory BOV helped somewhat. The only downside with an aftermarket BOV for me was that it leaked a little causing a rough idle. Most people wouldnt have even done the swap themself so they wouldnt know, they just say they are useless cause of the rice factor, but they can make a difference.

Here we go again, another Commondore v Skyline thread... From personal experience on a 250 metre run, my 146rwkW 33 beat a VYSS by a car length. Would have been more but I had a pathetic start. Both Manual. It will always be close, but a good 33 driver should win.

Both the bar and skirts have come out of the mold black.

Original price was a little OT for the BOV, I sold the same one last week for $115, so its about right now.

How weird is this... Was fiddling on ppq.com.au and came up with "30OST", was keen to get it but then realised it was already gone. An hour later I walked outside of work looked down the street, saw an R33 go past with the number plate "30OST". Now that is damn freaky, had to to tell someone anyways.
