  1. Oh cool! I figure its better to learn the limits of my car on the skidpan than finding out the hard way on a public road
  2. Yeah I remember someone here having that problem a while back, so its something I'll always remember...
  3. ZE-326's $130? Are they that cheap? May car had 235/40/18 ZE-326's on it when I bought it, so I can't compare them to anything else, but they don't seem to be wearing fast to me and thats 95% freeway driving. For my next set, the ST115's or FK451's seem to be the go.
  4. Mines got a chubby steering wheel with airbag so i'm assuming it one as well? How do you distinguish between motors... engine codes?
  5. Its luck of the draw whether you get jibbed with import taxes really, some people cop it some people dont? I'll also be getting a V-SPL 300/276/76 in a month or two, at the moment its 71,000Y/$920AUS ex shipping from nengun, Greenlines prices are a tad more. Let us know how you go?
  6. Good to hear theres only gunna be 2 on the skidpan at a time cause it'll be the first time i'll be getting my car really sideways, bit nervous about it actually... How big is the skidpan?
  7. I plan to fill it up through the gear lever hole as that was easily accessible when installing my short shifter. Cant be bothered with a pump really. But i'm unsure how much to put in? I've read that there is another hole (speedo sensor or something) somewhere and that you should fill it up till this hole overflows? Will this work? Where abouts is this speedo sensor bolt to remove? Easy to access?
  8. Try Caloundra Body Works, there probably the biggest in Caloundra, and are recommended by the big insurers. They have a good name BUT they are a bit more expensive than the rest. You live in Caloundra?
  9. Great choice of colour, if I was ever going to repsray it'd be that colour. I love that tealy blue just like the XR6's!
  10. I get this too. Only happens in 1st when pushing it hard, it jolts 2-3 times forcing a gear change. I thought it may be some sort of Rev/Boost/Fuel Cut... Dunno really? Sparkies you reckon?
  11. Net banking transfers to other banks will always take 2-3 business days. Still damn slow in todays times if you ask me! Only way to do it instantly is to go to their branch.
  12. 3cm's thick? Do they make em that thin, wouldn't it be... 600x300x60.
  13. Was just thinking the same thing myself, a search revealed about $350 -$500
  14. Money transferred as well. This mean i'm on orange boy on the bench?
  15. Sydneykid, when a RB25DET is hi-flowed, is it possible customise the way you want it, for example have it setup for more low-mid rev range torque or on the other end of the scale for top end grunt? Or is it basically a sort of one size fits all reconditioning? Whats the max (rwkW) a high-flowed RB25DET cold be safely pushed without having to start changing fuel pumps and internals? Cause thats as far as I'd like to take my car.
  16. "Top Speed - 418.4 kph / 260.0 mph"... Ahh huh.
  17. Any spots left? slip, Whats your bank details?
  18. Might be worth a look...
  19. Great thread! I'll be weighing up the same options in the months to come, tossing up between a HKS2530 or high-flowing, at the moment i'm leaning towards the hi-flow due to no post purchase fiddling. Sydneykid, how far can you actually safely push a high-flowed RB25 without having to look at fuel pumps and new internals?(220rwkW?) Cause I dont want to take it past that point really. All i'm really after is more power in the low and mid range with the responsiveness of the stocky, I'm not after wopping topend speed. Do they design the high-flow to the way you want, as I mentioned above?
  20. Very easy, installed via the boot using 4 bolts, heres mine...
  21. How many points do Queenslanders get anyway? 6? I was riding on 0 points for a year in VIC when I lost all my 12 points... Ahh young foolish.
  22. If you have a price you must have RWC at all times. But if you have just a for sale sign then no RWC is required.

  24. Anybody know who owns a black 33, chrome mags, in the Caloundra area? I always see it heading towards Golden Beach. Drivers a young 18yo guy with a long girly hippy hair-do.
