  13. As an ex-Mexican I've lived in quite a few Southside burbs over the last few years and would have to recommend Mt Gravatt, Holland Park & surrounding areas You have quick access to main arterials going in all directions, only 10mins from the city and close to good retail & 'automotive' shopping!
  14. Ahh got him off, has been sitting on the shelf for 3 months so was a little stiff Ta.
  15. Hi Steve, Mega dumb question... I cant seem to get my one even apart, surely it cant be this hard to seperate it? I'm pressing the button and trying to pull it apart? It must be quite simple but, do you have english instructions?
  16. Yep, the R is the upspec'd model, but engine wise they are identical. Only differences are electric sunroof and audio options like cassette player and multi-disc changer.
  17. Is that why its stock as a rock? You planning to get your greasy hands on it? Parts seem to be a fair bit cheaper, thats for sure.
  18. Haven't even thought about it, just startin to read up on SR's really...
  19. Hi all, well most probably wouldn't know me cause I usually lurk in the background and I've barely been on here since selling my 33 a while back. But shortly I'll be behind the wheel of another Nissan! I pickup my S15 Spec R on Friday - Can't wait! It's bog stock, but the hunt for parts has already begun, will chuck it on the dyno next week before the mods begin Hopefully be out cruising soon, if Silvia's are welcome of course? I'd better change that avatar of mine...
  20. I've been fully employed for years but just not always in the same role. I'm in IT. If you have a 20k car that you own, I don't think it will be a big problem for you. Good luck!
  21. I've had no end of trouble getting a loan for a car. I am an excellent saver with no debts to my name but the banks dont really care about that. I've been in full time employment for the last 6 years, never out of work, I have a healthy salary, but I move around alot and get itchy feet with boring jobs. So they see that as unstable. I checked my credit rating and could see no wrong. I just don't get em? My advice; Ensure you dont have a credit card with a rediculous limit, reduce it down if it is. Keep your address up to date on your credit rating. Give them heaps of documentation to prove your income. Ensure that you have been in work for at least 3 months. And most importantly, if some banks get wind that you are buying an import they will say no, even if you were approved. Some have 5 year or newer rules, even if it is a persoanl loan and not a car loan Don't tell em about the make/model until as late as possible.
  22. Was thinking about doing something like this. A friend suggested and had this on his old rx. Have a kill switch wired into your coils, then when someone tries to start it - it won't, but you'll still here it trying to turn over.
  23. Cool thanks guys.
  24. A simple one... Can you use an alarm and a kill switch in unison, or will a kill switch somehow affect or tamper with the operation of an alarm? Thanks.
  25. Silver VY SS - 'RYN 22' Spotted this a year ago near Wishart, then again the other day at Mt Gravatt, Logan Rd.
