  1. Filled up at East Perth BP with U98 for 108.7 last night. There were no out of order tags.
  2. Bit of a n00b question here... I have been running a RB25 turbo on my RB20 at just under 1 bar for a while now. So that would be approximately 14psi (I know people are going to say I am not meant to, but I have not had problems so far and there are mixed opinions on this) Would highflowing it, which would only give me another....say 6psi of boost....really provide THAT much of a power increase? Since the housing is kept the same, and the internals are upgraded, wouldn't this mean the volume of air which can be moved would stay the same? Or is there more to a highflow than I thought... Once again, excuse the n00bness of the question.....
  3. This is interesting to see.... I would be interested to see one of these turbos on a RB20....anyone?
  4. R.I.P

  6. I second that.....
  7. Yeah its atmo.....I wouldn't have thought that it would be a problem..... and why has it become a problem since the tune?
  8. Cheers man, Yeah that's what it feels like is happening. I am using a HKS SSQ BOV, so there is no plum back :\ I know my AFM is being maxed out, would getting a Z32 fix this problem?
  9. I have a '92 R32 RB20DET, running 196kw. The problem has appeared since the tune, and I am unsure if it is because of the tune or if there is something else causing this problem. When i give the car any stick, and change gears in high rpm, the car kinda bogs down and hesitates causing the car to stutter once. After that it revs fine until i quick shift the next gear and it will happen again. It almost feels like it is over fuelling or something when I change gears.... I could kinda work around the problem by riding the clutch on the change. However, since the new clutch, it doesn't like to be ridden so the problem can't really be avoided. Is this normal? am I changing gears wrong? is it just turbo lag? Any help would be appreciated!!!
  10. Decals = NO
  11. I'll be interested to see how mine goes. Going to take it down soon as I finally got the clutch sorted! I'll post what I get.
  12. Cheers, unfortunately I don't know what the before and after was for the JUST the remap, as I installed the turbo and injectors, towed it to the shop and got it tuned. So i noticed a huge difference, but it wasn't all from the tune obviously
  13. I second that. I am running a RB20 with normal bolt on mods, GTR injectors, GTR fuel pump, R34 RB25 turbo and a Nistune Remap and I am making 195kw. Next thing needs to be AFM.
  14. Go 20% Sure its illegal, but not obviously illegal like 5% Plus it looks heaps better... This is 20% on my car, bear in mind that the contrast with the white can make it look darker....
  15. 1992 R32 GTS-T 102 5XX k's on the clock Internally stock RB20DET The following modifications: - POD Filter - 3" turbo back exhaust (Just jap dump, X-Force Highflow, Kakimoto muffler) - FMIC - Greddy Profec B Spec II Electronic Boost Controller - HKS SSQ BOV - 440cc GTR Injectors - GTR Fuel Pump - RB25 Turbo from an R34 (Nylon Compresor Wheel) - Stock ECU with Nistune ROM remapped by Allstar Tuning in W.A - Stock AFM - Stock Plenum - Stock Coilpacks - Sparkies gapped to 0.8 - Running 98 RON fuel Made 195 kw or ~261 hp at the wheels at slightely less than 1 bar. Very happy with those results.
  16. Awesome, I don't feel so bad for hacking at my injectors now
  17. Cheers for the write up, it helped me heaps The only thing which I noticed was that the plugs on my injector harness did not fit my GTR injectors. The edge of plastic on the injector which fits in line with the plug is slightely off centre for the standard injectors. Basically had to file away this 'guide' and the plug fitted. Was wondering if any one else had this problem...
  18. Yep sounds good, I need to pop my cruise cherry
  19. Maybe in your area, but around my place i only see R33's.....I suppose it depends on where you are located.
  20. Defintely put an RB25 in your R32. The power of the 2.5L, the weight of the R32 and the sexy sexy body R32's look heaps better then R33's, plus every man and his dog has R33's
  21. Anyone know how much workshops would charge to install and tune one of these?
  22. Its lost the Skyline look No round lights..
  23. The amount of extra lag depends on the type of RB25 turbo you use. The R34 ones should have a nylon compressor wheel so they have less lag then the steel S1 R33 turbos.
  24. My profec B also does a high pitch noise when i slightly back of the boost. Are you sure you dont have a boost controller??
  25. Cheers man, thats what i wasn't sure about. The previous thread had replies from Ken and I wasn't too sure if it now has the same owners/tuners etc.
