It's kind of sad the amount of people that show interest and then are going to be no shows...
Really sucks for those coordinating the day. I'll admit I thought about pulling out due to a large un expected expense during the week but would like to support those organizing it.
I'd like to be on early as I'm working at 12 on the day.
Cheap dyno time, perfect for a before and after mods Hearts!
Can I have a PM with details of the day. Where, how much, do I need to pull shaft ect ect....
Tempted to pull shaft if we dont need to, to see if the shift kit has improved much
Yeah I should have recommended this too, have a spare car handy so when u get the bolts off you can zipp to your closest hardware store and get some hex headed bolts to suit.... They are a pretty standard thread size cos I had a few lying around in the shed from some kind off bike repair
yeah the jjr bellmouth front dump is a good mod and will fit your series one. I'd get the mild steel option as its easier to heat up and re-work if you really need to... Should fit fine but every so often people have trouble with them tapping the floor or gear box support. have fun fitting it Haha dump pipes are so annoying espesh 3inch as the bolts foul on the pipe when you try to do them up.
Got a three inches catch cat myself too....... Good mod again to help get it breathing.
You will notice the most improvements out of these mods with some sort of tunability like piggybacks or an aftermarket computer. But I suggest getting your breathing sorted first so you don't need to pay for double dyno time if that makes sense.
Hope this helps
Chris
Im sure not much modification will need to be done...
I leant my stock zhorst (s1 rs4v) to DSTROY (chad) (s2 rs4v) for him to clear a sticker.
Think he needed to sort out a few hangers as mine were cut off and used for my current zhorst.
PM him
Evening All,
Well myself and chefstagea's wondering start out when the dude selling this Stagea For Sale On EBAY posted up in his ad something along the lines of "plugs changed including the plug near the oil filter that most owners dont know about". Has anyone herd about this? I never have and dont really believe it... I cant find where he says it in the advert know as I think he's edited it but I did send him an ebay question about it and got this reply:
"Dear kidafa,
my mechanic said he found it behind the oil filter mount when he did the last oil change - told me it wouldn't have been found without the mount coming off.
- peterh9905"
Can anyone shed any light?
Cheers,
Chris
Ill claim this one Thanks for the comments mate.
Also on the way home saw BIT SUS (nigel) going up mitch's road and when I was at the deli saw them drive past.
Also herd the commey sliding around the roundabout near the pub you speak of.
I recently got mine changed at pedders to solid adjustable bushes in my s1 RS4 as the stockers were cracked to shit.
Think they were the same as a r33 GTR. Pedders part number was EP9163. Got a very good price on them $110, 80 labour and 80 for 4 wheel alignment (includes using my rear toe and camber arms) and a suspension safety check
Mate you keep bumping these wheels and crying about low ballers. Yet you say asking for offers around $1500 then say offers lower than 1400 will be laughed at. Consider saying 1500 Firm. Dono about you but 99% of the time if someone was advertising something for offers around 1500, an offer between 1300-1500 is completely lidgit if its something second hand.
/end rant
Hi Mitch!
The other "dude" Would be Adam (chefstagea) in his stock (Lame) stag. Ohh wait i forgot he's got 1 mod ; zhorst control valve. Poooooofffttttaaa !!!
sounds like the ballast has kicked the bucket mate :-( Their stashed on the back back of the headlights.
You prob will find it cheaper and easier to get a aftermarket drop in kit off ebay
hmmmm doesnt sound right to me mate, seeing as it worked at the ON position, sounds like they had their power sources mixed up.
Timer before immobiliser and alarm? Brave move.
