Yeah they do carry atelast one brand on dex III ATF. wouldnt bother with the transmision swap with the s1 just speed up the manny conversion

Just spoke to adam again now that he was free (he was with the thread doctor before).... He says run the Diagnostic I put up. It will tell you whats going on. If the fluid is low and its at to higher temp it will tell you that aswell. Adam said he ran the diagnostic found out it was shift solinoid b from diagnostic. Called mike; told him what he got from diagnostic and sure enough when they pulled it apart nit was shift solinoid B.

Far out 130 for a service is alot cheaper than any prices I've been quoted! Adam said when I was on the phone to him they dont touch the solenoids on the Shiftkit service. Roo if I were you I would check the fluid before you drive home. What time do you finish mate? Im working at Mt Barker and prob have a L or 2 of transmaxZ sitting at home in the shed in burnside if your really stuck....

That first thread has nothing to do with it. That was his coils leaking spark ect...

Adams had no signs of it playing up then it blew the shift solinoid B out of the blue. Car would only drive in 2 and 3. He was given a price to fix it and service as pan has to be pulled ect and the option of a shift kit. He went down the shift kit path and the fix including shift kit was around 500/600. Mike at MV will have it sussed very quickly as he told adam the solinoids that are shagged are very easy to spot.

Hi Roo, Would same something rude like pull the mesh and see if it goes away but jokes aside Im 99% sure this is what adams car did when one of his G box solenoids shat itself on his old s2 and went into limp mode. Sit tight for 5 and ill have a hunt and try and contact him aswell.

Mate, I was very interested in this unit till some of your PM replys. It also felt like you were trying to miss lead me that this is an In-dash unit when its not. Hope everyone else is aware.

I'm aware of a member on here that has bought a ebay cable and an ebay serial to usb converter and will be interested to see how it works. Infact think he needs my laptop to test it out will pm him now.

ryan, Was only thinking after I got off computer to do what duncon said. Pull the parts off and return it to stock. Sell your aftermarket bits and pieces. Best option IMO to get a. the most of your money back as possible, b. a quick sale as you can drop asking price

Hi ryan, Yeah I looked when you put your stag up for sale and had a squiz at price and mods ect.... Its a well modded car but the mods dont hold value much at all. What you would be asking is more if it was completely stock and then body condition. Seeing as its not leather ect id be re considering to. For sure if someone is after a modded car and knows about what parts are good ect sure they will snap yours up. my 2c

No joke. Tangles stag pulls so dam hard, had to look in the rear vision mirror to remind myself I was sitting in a stagea a few times. The turbo doesnt run out of puff either. The head work does make it feel like it had a lot more torque down the bottom end too Awesome roads aswell cant wait for the cruise! One very well done stag Brendan.

Hi All, Swear I posted a thread askign this 30 mins ago but its gone?? Anyway: I bought a wing today for the stagea of Mike (cheers mate). The clear coat is peeling and has one small ding id like to get fixed up. I took it straight to Norwood Panel works and they said they'd do it for $150. I wasnt really thinking at the time and now think thats a bit steep? I might go pick it up and get a few more qoutes. Its only one of the small stagea wings nothing massive and would be pretty easy to paint. Thinking maybe I should get some more qoutes. Anyone got any recomendations? Needs to be done in the Nissan KR4 (silver) color Cheers, Chris
