Thought i'd see if you guys know abit more than over from the gtr.co.uk forum,seems to be more infomation on starter motors and stuff here than there... my GTR was parked up for about 3 weeks,went to start and just got a single click. the starter motor has been fully re-conditioned,and battery has been fully charged and all i still get are a few clicks tried a different battery and still got the same problem,also tried jump starting but nothing now,which wire is the postive and which is the negative on the starter motor? i'm guessing the small "spade" is the positive and the 12mm is the negative? i need to try bridge it apparently,but i'm not sure on how to try this out.. also,i'm going to try jump starting it again,but instead of using the negative in the engine bay,i'll be putting the negative somewhere else in the engine bay,where would you say is the best place to put it? need the car fixed asap aswell,ran out of ideas now! also relays,where/what do i need to check? all the fuses are fine,checked them all and also wobbled them around thanks

i've got the same problem on my R33 GTR,it works sometimes,usually hangs around 1k rpm mark,and sometimes moves around the range,only seen it go up to 5k rpm so far and then it shot down to 0

Anyone know how to fix a stuck RPM needle on an R33 GTR? It moves from 0 to 1100rpm or so,and moves up and down between 1000/1400 rpm but that's it,i know it's a common problem and have searched but find many topics on speedo cables and un-answered rpm needle threads. Someone please help,want to get mine done asap when i collect the car

there's another engine that was fitted to them? turns out there's 2 that i haven't driven then,i've seen those 2 pictures if you are referring to the Autech catalogue,no-one got anything else?

Is there much infomation on this car about on the internet,or here? Not many people know that there was actually a N/A RB26 that was in the R32 4 doors,and i'd just like to see what infomation there is out there on them. Anyone got detailed pictures of the engine bay and what kind of power figures they were putting out? It's the only engine in a Skyline that i've yet to drive,gone through them all bar this one,from the RB20 N/A,to the RB26DETTs

One of the auto R32's that we own,doesn't seem to like to change gear? I'm hoping it isn't the torque converter firstly,any way that i can check this to make sure? If not,what else is there that i can look for? Also,the car idles at 2000rpm when left in park,though there currently isn't a 02 sensor fitted (yes i know),there is one going to be fitted on this monday coming which should hopefully get rid of the misfiring and the poor fuel comsumption another problem,which i'm guessing is realted to the 02,is the car under boost,seems like it's back firing and it doens't want to rev freely,i've swapped around AFM's,and got another one to try out soon,though is this problem linked with the 02 sensor? Thanks

thought that was what you meant,and it was.. not sure when the R34 will be added to the collection,dad is quite liking the new GTR right now.....
