  1. so would it be ok to just hook the map sensors up to a vacuum port? not tap the manifold. i have a vacuum distrubition block on my brake booster line(its inline on the hose between the manifold and brake booster) i was planning on running each map sensor to each of its own ports. would that work? or do i really have to tap the manifold(frowns) its so hard to take off once the motors in the car.
  2. well i was putting my motor in this weekend and the oilfilter got stuck on something and popped off! now i can thread a new one on!! the treads look fine but every filter i have wont screw on and stay on!!! it just keeps spinning!! it there any way to fix this?? but i would rather buy a new one!!!ASAP!!!! i neeed a oil filter housing(tree) for an rb26dett i live in florida in the usa and i dont care price be reasonable but i need asap!!!!! i dont check internet much so u can try to message me u can cal my cell phone in the usa if u would like and i will remembersue u for the call with the money i send for the housing!!! my cell is 54 675 3213 thanks paul
  3. well im doing a single turbo conversion on my rb26 gt30r turbo i wanna run some where between 15-20psi but do i need to work about any restrictions on the stock ecu?like boost cut? or anything eles? ill betuning with a greddy emanage blue so hence the stock computer. if there are any restrictions, how can i resolve then to allow my car to run prperly? thanks!
  4. ok i can get my hands on my friends greddy emanage blue it comes with the softwar,e laptop computer, injector harness(new), ignition harness(new), and the boost harness(new) for $200 its in perfect working condition. now i was wondering would this be the right way togo to tune my rb26 swapped s14? my mods are: rebuilt rb26 acl race bearings new oem piston rings single turbo gt30r frontmount intercooler dual walbro 255 intank fuel pumps adj. fpr stock fuel injectors stock mafs im looking for about 350-400rwhp so would that tune setup be a good way togo?

  6. ok the link i posted i was the fuel rail looks like!!! i didnt order that one/ or order it from the seller! it came from a company called bmpc here in america! it came in a box marked for an r32/33/34 so yes its for an rb26dett! i just want to know it there away to make stock injectors work! no need to bash my shallow pockets! i got the part of dirt cheap! just looking for help not bashing! and another note r31 i will beusing a greddy emanage to run my car so is that good enough for your standards? or am i still to cheap?

  8. i really dont know what kind of fuel rail! sorry its just like a generic type! its got 6-an fittings on both side and middle! im using stock rb26dett injectors but they are loose as hell in the hole in the rail! can i just use a bigger o-ring to make it fit? ill try to find it ill post a pic/link
  9. r31-thanks for the nice comments! no need for that! its my car/motor and ill do what i want! back on topic- but can i just change out the o-rings and it will work of i just gotta use the rail with upgraded injectors?
  10. ok i just got an upgraded fuel rail for my rb26dett but the problem is the holes on the rail were the injector sits in are too big! do i have to get new injectors that fit? i thought all top feeds are the same diameter(well ones for the rb26 atleast) is there away i can make them work? im so lost! help

  13. ok got a freshly rebuilt r32 gtr rb26dett going into my s14! now its a complete stock rebuild! fresh gasket kit, new oem rings and acl race bearings. i also converted to a single turbo. specs are-Turbonetics Wet float bearing. T3 60-1 compressor- .70 a/r turbine- .63 a/r run about 15psi front mount intercooler. using walbro fuel pump and aermotive fpr. stock injectors, stock mafs. using safc II for a beginning tune! oh i forgot ill be running 116 octane race fuel!!!!!!!!!!i wanna make 400hp! can i get there on this setup? what will it get me? motor is stock besides for mods listed above thanks!

  16. i see people running the afm in there intercooler piping and it works fine, but can i do this with my rb26? since it has two mafs? can i just put one infront of the other? will that work. im converting to single turbo so i would have to get the greddy y-pipe to adapt the two to one feed to the turbo. so is there away to run both mafs inline or am i stuck using the greddy y-pipe or stand alone to remove the mafs all together? is there away to run one maf? thanks
  17. if the filter is mounted strait up like threads are pointing down to keep oil from coming out when removing the filter u can take a screwdriver and puch a hole on top of the filter before u remove it. this will allow pressure to leave the filter allow oil to flow out and u can remove the filter with no mess! i did that on my old setup on my sr20, worked perfect!

  19. thanks for the info. im gonna run a gt30r turbo like the single setup. im running a twin pulse manifold and a .63 rear housing should help with the response. only looking for 400hp! im gonna set my rev limiter to 7500 should be nice!

  21. can i use new oem nissan rod bolts to swap into my rb26 or isit even worth doing? also is it the vg30dett or vg30de rod bolts i wanna use?

  24. im converting to single turbo so no need to worry about the stock turbo ceramic wheels im also doing a complete rebuild of the engine includes :acl race bearings new oem complete gasket kit and new oem piston rings. just wanted to know if i need to think about fixing any thing eles!
  25. ok just wanted to be informed about the rb26 motors. i already know abvout the oil issues(crank collar, oil resistors, and head drain) just wanted to know about any other weakness of the motor. im shooting now for 400hp maybe bumped to 500hp thats it so what do you think is a weak spot in the engine thanks inform away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,
