Just worried about how quickly the friction plates might wear out. I guess my concern was that while I had read a lot of positive information about these diffs, I couldn't seem to find any info about how long they last. I just don't really want to spend $1300 or thereabouts on a new diff and then have to replace it after 18months of mainly street driving. If anyone has any experience with these things on a daily driver and has got a decent amount of kms out of it, be it the Kaaz, Nismo, Tomei, I would be interested to know.

Hi guys, I have been considering an aftermarket mechanical LSD, probably a Kaaz 1.5 -way and was wondering if anyone has experience / an opinion on the durability of these. My car is an R33 GTST with some basic mods and is my daily driver. I want the diff for the odd track day here and there and for the occasional traffic-light grand prix. I have read plenty of positive reviews here about the aftermarket LSDs but ultimately I want something that is also going to last. If the Kaaz unit isn't going to give me more than say 20,000km then maybe I would be better off shimming up the standard diff every so often? Any advice appreciated
