Metho is completley safe for car paint. i use it everyday on cars at work to prep for sticker application. not really ideal for removing the glue, bug and tar/citric based stuff is best. just roll the glue with your thumb and it should come off. if you get the heat just right with your hairdryer u wont leave behind any glue anyways.

Im a lover of the stock 33taillights, to change them in my opinion is just looking for sumthin to spend money on.

u may have to get a computer di line drawn up and get them routor cut out of some metal via a sign shop or fab place, then have them chromed. add some double sided tape and your done.
