  1. Yeah it's a 4-door, here's a couple recent pics of the grocery getter
  2. It's an A'PEXi Hybrid. Nice little intercooler, minimal cutting had to be done to the bumper cover to make it fit which was a big bonus.
  3. Here's mine when I had the bumper cover off, hope it helps.
  4. Yeah it's just a reminder, I picked my R33 up with 32K documented kilometers and it has the sticker. BTW I only put an average of 5K on my car a year, most cars around the Tokyo/Yokohama area don't really see a lot of kilometers since most people use the trains to get around(cheaper and faster plus parking sucks). So some of the low kilometer Skylines running around are actually genuine.
  5. There really is only one option: http://www.motorex.net/ Check their stock list for prices,BTW it doesn't need to be converted to LHD No offense or anything but you would probably be better off with a 240SX, just stay away from the Honda's. LOL Yank slang is pretty funny, well now that I've been away from it for nine years it is anyways
  6. We think the same thing in the states. I always found it amazing that the Japanese consider 100,000 KM to be high, that's only 62,000 miles! I guess there is a stigma surrounding the whole 100,000 mark.
  7. Got my R33 just over a year ago with 32,000 documented kilometers, just turned 38,000. I hate to see the kilometers rack up so I'm looking at getting a nice cheap low kilometer S13 Q's to drive to work in. My last car(A31 Cefiro) I bought with 82,000 and got rid of it with 112,000 Kms. Nothing but problems with it, tranny on it was about to die(slipping) when I traded it up for the Skyline. It's great not being nickle and dimed like I was with the Cefiro now, had zero problems with the 25t
  8. I wash the 25t 1-2 times a week, usually always polish and wax it once a month since I'm anal about water spots and other crap you can't get off just from washing.
  9. Depends on what kind of girl your after just like any other part of the world.
  10. My IP is banned from Takakaira as well, from what I recall another reseller was mirroring Takakaira's site for some reason so they went ahead and banned Japanese IP's. I can still check it out from work however(.mil address).
  11. Another pic of it with the old 17 inch Sparco NSII Pythons.
  12. Here's mine with 17 inch Buddy Club P1's before I put the suspension in it. Notice the 4X4 stance, looks much better now just need to take newer pics
  13. East Bear sells a version: http://www.east-bear.co.jp/aeroparts/skyli...rp-f-trank.html another http://www.east-bear.co.jp/aeroparts/skyli...33/c-trank.html
  14. Bumper on:
  15. I meant to reply to this and forgot about it until now, anyway here's my Trust cooler. I'm happy with it, the series II bumper provided a great place to mount it. Bumper off:
  16. Hey Luis good to see another squid on here, I live in Yokohama but I'm actually attached to a squadron out of Atsugi. How do you like living with all the Marines in Iwakuni? I'm sure you'll want to stay longer once your close to the end of your tour, do it if you can man. FYI though nobody is allowed more than three consecutive overseas tours now(I'm on my fourth , just made it before they passed this) in Japan, so that's the only reason I'm leaving. Enjoy your time in Japan while you can, believe me it goes by really fast.
  17. Been here in Japan for almost nine years, plan on staying for another three years or so. Sorry can't really tell you too much about the job market since I'm an American serving in the military. Be carefull of Nova though, quite a few guys I know who got out of the military worked for them and hated it. From what they told me they make you work crazy hours and the pay really wasn't that good in the end. I love it here, my wife(she's Japanese) says I've become "Japanized" It's a shame I'll have to leave, if I could have it my way I'd stay here for ten more years The thought of saying goodbye to the 25t really bothers me, not even sure what the hell I would get in the states, I guess either a WRX or a Lancer EVO. As far as cost of living whereever you go to live will make the biggest difference. The Tokyo area is very expensive, I myself live in Yokohama right now and my 1 year old three bedroom western style house is running me 169,000 Yen a month for rent. While I was living in Misawa(in northern Japan near Aomori) I could get pretty much the same house with a garage for about half the price. What other kind of info are you looking for?
