Very true. Good thing fuel prices have come down a bit though! I've heard shipping interstate isn't too expensive... Although I have no idea how much. -

Still for sale... To expensive? Too cheap? The car's been great to me, no troubles at all. Sad that I need to sell. -

The turbos are N1 turbos (or very similar... Steel instead of ceramic inside). Power is 300 hp at the wheels. -

Garrett's. From what I understand (just going off what my mechanic told me - he's the one I bought it off) they are standard size turbos, but with steel wheels to allow much higher boost than standard. To me they sound very much like the N1 turbos, although I may be slightly off. -

Another quick amendment: The tires ARE 265/35's, but they're 18" not 19" inch. Oops, by bad. -

I forgot to mention, the new tires are Federals, and they're 255/35's, not 265/35's - I'll update the original post when I figure out how. They're very grippy tires. If anyone has any questions, comments or even offers, feel free to post a reply, pm me, email me or call me. I'm in the early stages of building a house, so unfortunatly I need to sell asap; I'll consider most reasonable offers. And any comments on the price/car would be greatly appreciated. -

OK, quick update: Just had the car serviced; put on 4 brand new tires; and had the PowerFC re-tuned, so it's more responsive, better on fuel and makes more power. Here's the new dyno graph. As I'm sure most people know, red is the old tune, blue the new one. Top curves are power, bottom set is air-fuel ratio. Feel free to make an offer, the price is negotiable (though preferably not too much - got land to pay for - but we'll see what happens ) -

lol... well, I have as much power (when I turn the boost back up) -
White... I have a white R33 GTR with white Advan rims... I love it! 34's look nice in black, yellow and blue too though (ranked in that order)

maybe a Bugatti Veyron? So true. That said, I can fit my 6 foot 6 inch mate in my back seat along with another rear passenger! Although it's a bit tight... -

Good point! I think it's a testament to Nissan that older GTRs can still hold their own against a lot of modern cars quite well. -

I read that before I bought my R33 GTR... Didn't stop me from buying it. He does make legitimate points, such as the tramlining and the lack of torque down low, and most of his other points are pretty much on the money too.. As for a rex having as much power with some mods? Well, out of the factory I think the GTRs have more power than claimed, and with those same extra mods the GTR wins again :-) . My GTR is mildly modded and it has around 300 hp at all four wheels (running around 14psi tho). The issues he mentions with the 4wd system aren't really issues... It was how it was designed (in my opinion anyway). It lets you play, then keeps you off the footpath :-) . Oh yeah, and it's true that every man and his dog decides he needs to race you if you're in a GTR... Just ignore them, then occasionally show them who's boss :-) But yeah, overall I think the GTR is a great car, and I'm definitely much happier with it than I would have been driving an Sti or anything else below a Ferrari :-)
