  1. I'm assuming the shocks are for a 32 GTR? Stock height or lowered? If so, by how much>
  2. If you really want to go to extremes then buy my carbon fibre bonnet, guards and doors
  3. Its going to make a huge difference if you can do the labour yourself or if you'll be paying someone because you might as well add 30% to everything to get it fitted.
  4. You're looking at an easy 10-12k to get your dead stock rb20det to 280rwkw, and then another 7k for internals when it blows. 5k might get you 160-170rwkw.

A few other things -the speed sensor will need to be machined down to fit into the rb20 gearbox -i used the original power steering lines but i hear the rb20 ones will fit better -you need to swap the tacho mechanism from the s13 to r32 one to get the tacho working -r32 dump/front pipes tend to hang very low for an s13 so i had them modified shorter -its not a bad idea to fit the r32 brake master and slave. I did 27 quarter mile runs in the middle of a very hot day with no overheating problems, but many people do get overheating on idle.

  8. Sounds right to me, people get their hopes up because they hear of other people that get stupidly high figures with no mods, but for an rb20det with just exhaust and FMIC on 11psi, 140rwkw sounds spot on to me.
  9. -You just use a tailshaft from a manual ca or sr s13, it's the right length for the rb20 manual gearbox. -Slot the mounts if you want the engine to sit lower, especially if its going in a 180sx. -Front swaybar needs to be spaced about 1cm down or use a whiteline swaybar that is extended forwards. -The rear of the power steering pump needs to be modded if its going in a non-hicas s13. -Use the rb20 radiator and twin thermos. -Only a few wires need modifying, its the ones on the loom near the airbox. -Use the rb20 air con lines.

  12. I've pretty sure you'll be running closer to 14psi if you remove it.
  13. Those rates are very stiff for a street car, you'd want something closer to 7/5 or 6/4.

  15. The HKS2530 will make 200rwkw on about 15psi and is a fantastic turbo for the street. I'd ditch that 2.5" exhaust for a 3".

  17. I'm chasing a fuel filler neck for an r32 GTR (not sure if other models are the same) and it must have a restrictor fitted. cheers Neil

  21. This came with my GTR but i need the money for compliance more than i need a cage. Its a Cusco 5pt as the title states, in good condition (tears in foam as pictured). Doesn't come with mounting plates for the front (you'll need to get them made to your engineer's specs anyway) and it needs 2 nuts and bolts for the cross bar. I'm after $400 firm, prefer pick up but i may be able to deliver to Bris or Gold Coast if i can figure out how to fit it into one of my other cars. PM me or email [email protected]

  23. If you guys weren't so far away i'd bring them down to you to have a look, but there's a workshop up here that did all the carbon work for the Ray Vandersee's Skelta so i'll see what they say.
  24. Yeah that's what i was trying to get at, if i sanded back the paint would it just need clear coats, not a gel coat. I'll weigh the doors when i swap them this weekend. I already weighed the guards which were 1290g, GTR aluminium ones were 1900g (i guess gtst steel would be a kg or more heavier?). The bonnet isn't as light as the last dry CF one i had because its got a lot more ribbing.
