  1. I've got 215s on 9.5" on the front of my car and haven't had any problems. Rears are 235s on 9.5" as thats the smallest the tyre shop would fit.
  2. I had the 2530 and never looked back. Perfect turbo for daily driving, mountain runs, drift and even a bit of drag.
  3. Look up Gold Coast Mobile Safety Certificates and talk to Milton.
  4. I can get into my driveway fine, but can't get out without scraping because i can't get enough angle. Its worn through the bottom of the front bar so i have to get it fixed and resprayed. Front bar is 5cm off the road.
  5. Mine is 100% CF, but the cop said it would be illegal either way because it affects the crumple zone and the bits of CF will chop pedestrians up into teency pieces, or something to that effect.
  6. As you suggested, Whiteline does an s13 swaybar that's an inch or 2 further forward and will clear the sump.
  7. I'm very doubtful that CF bonnets are legal. Every cop who's pulled me over has warned me that my CF is illegal (although have never booked me for it.)
  8. Any decent PFC tuner will have the laptop software and won't need a hand controller. Mercury Motorsport has a special on PFC tuning at the moment, check em out.
  9. Yep, Charles lives in Bris.
  10. Yep, i read that. Just wanted the name to get in people's heads.
  11. Different usernames each time: sssblades, myhdt, d1drifta
  12. Under 1k for each of the people, over 1k total.
  13. I've been contacted by a number of people who have also been scammed by this individual in the past 2 months and we now have a police point-of-contact for this case. If you or someone you know has been scammed by him, or you have heard this name mentioned on other forums, please PM me. cheers Neil
  14. My mate is a member here, but not on often. 260z 2 seater, rb20det, vg30 turbo, fmic, etc.
  15. True, but a 5k sr20det conversion + 6k mods still wouldn't get you as fast as an rb26dett with exhaust, boost and cams.
  16. I assume the halfcut would come with wiring, ecu, intercooler, radiator, but most don't come with brakes. halfcut ($6500) r32 crossmember ($150-250) modified sump ($300-500) r33 gtst gearbox ($1200-1500) flywheel and clutch ($500-1000) machine speedo drive sensor ($?) custom tailshaft ($500) brake upgrade ($600-2000) intercooler piping ($400-800) exhaust ($400-1000) fuel pump ($200-400) mating wiring looms ($350) Labour ($0-3000) So you're looking at about 11k bare minimum to 16k for good clutch, s/s exhaust and i/c piping and labour. Zoom did the conversion themselves and it cost them 11.5k.
  17. I may be biased but i love the Uras Monkey Magic kit on my car
  18. Roy, i just pulled these ratios straight off nissansilvia.co.nz 3.321 1.902 1.308 1.000 0.759 Diff ratio is either 4.363 or 4.083 depending what model silvia.
  19. Ok, i've had an rb20det s13 and an sr20det s13. Same diff ratio. The sr20det still has more torque, even with a laggier turbo (2540 on the sr, 2530 on the rb). The rb20det reved out much better though. It probably has a lot to do with the better suspension in my current s13, but this one handles like a dream, literally jumps side to side on the road, perfect response, whereas the 180 was sluggish to turn. Never pushed hard enough to notice under- or over-steer.
  20. I've had both now and i'd stick with an sr20. rb20 is great but engine conversions cause problems, bolt-on parts no longer bolt-on. Sure miss the sound of the rb20 though!
  21. Hey Jon, i should be up next weekend so i'll see how much dosh i can get together to offer for the slicks. They're radials right? PM me your mobile number and i'll pop round Sat. cheers Neil
  22. Just upgrade your fuel pump and you could still pump out some decent figures even without z32 afm, injectors, or PFC. Your current setup plus fuel pump should get you over 230rwkw without any hassles. Installing the fuel pump will be fine without needing management.
  23. Edit: pasted in other thread to keep info together.
  24. Sweet, thanks SK. Any idea on what size i should be looking at and a rough price, or should i get my lazy ass off this seat and go to a tool shop
  25. I can get a pair of Tein spanners for $49, but even then i thought that was a little pricey and not sure if they'd fit my Apexi N1 coilovers? Could you get suitable C-spanners from a tool shop?
