  1. Vios III Black F/G Graduation Pick Up
  2. Funnily enough I found someone in Brisbane who came across the same problem as well this week so we're swapping boxes tonight
  3. Yeah I've got a Recaro reclinable at the moment and my head rubs in my S14a without a helmet, I'm 6'1". The LF rails are $300 but I guess it's worth it for around $550 total if I can fit properly.
  4. I don't know why RB20 boxes are so rare down there, they're about $350 up here (not what you want to hear I'm sure).
  5. Only universal rails so they won't be much good. With some more searching it seems the 2 are similar but the Vios is a "low max" seat so you can get it mounted lower.
  6. Oh man, if only one of us had come across this problem just days earlier. Only 2 days ago I paid a mechanic to swap my SR20 bellhousing onto an RB20 gearbox I got cheap and only once it was bolted to the engine we found that it was 50mm shorter. What a waste of time, it's not worth getting my tailshaft lengthened so I'm shopping for an SR box instead. I drove 5 hours return to look at one today that was f**ked. So for the search record: CA18 and SR20 gearboxes are the same length RB20 are shorter!
  7. Anyone make copy seat rails? The Bride LF rail will cost more than the seats!
  8. Hey man, either the Vios or Zeta with graduation is my preference, I'm not sure what the difference is between them. It's street registered so the Maxis is over the top, I'm not sure on FRP/CF/Kevlar yet, depends on weight differences. What were you thinking? Edit: Just found this- vios is supposed to sit you a little lower. It does this by being recessed a little more on the bottom and having a slightly more curved back. I find this seating position more comfortable, especially for a street driven car. The vios also has smaller shoulder bolsters and the thigh supports are lower, making it a more livable seat for day to day. I have sat in a zeta too and it is also very comfortable. It is probably the seat i would choose for a more dedicated track car. Probably go for the Vios because head clearance is a concern for me.
  9. Anyone want to go halves in a fixed back pair? I can pick up from Brisbane.
  10. Hey mate I tried to pm you but I can't off my tablet. What length is the tailshaft, front and rear sections? I think it's what I need for my s14.
  11. Depends how much headroom you've got left, it can end up a fair distance off the floor.
  12. Autech SR20DE = 147kw S15 SR20DET = 184kw With a few grand spent Autech SR20DE = 148kw S15 SR20DET = 280kw
  13. Personally imported tyres would make up a fraction of a percentage of all tyre sales in Australia so I can't see how it makes up much of a difference. Call me a stoogebag if you want but I'm not paying twice the price for the privelidge of buying local.
  14. I'm interested to hear peoples experiences as well. I guess the yanks go for 350z rotors because there's not many Skylines, so the dogbones will only suit the 350z Brembo rotors hat offsets. I've seen them for sale elsewhere as well for about $100 US, if they won't post internationally then you can use a broker like PriceUSA. http://www.mysr20.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=Z33bracket
  15. Hey don't be so insensitive, tuff_love spent weeks coming up with that name!
  16. I'd like to shorten up the ratio on my S14 so I'm looking for a 4.3 or 4.1 ring and pinion, or a whole diff if located in Brisbane. I don't really want to fork out for a whole LSD centre so either the gears themselves or a cheap non-LSD r200 would be best.. I'm located in Toowoomba, Qld but will pay for postage.
  17. I've been enquiring about bringing over some Nitto NT-01s through Price USA from Discount Tire Direct. NT-01s are the same compound as Toyo R888s with a more aggressive pattern. They work out at $280 ea posted in a 255/40/17 which is the same price as Federal RSRs here.
  18. Cooltone are the suppliers.
  19. I've got an iPod Touch and you can get TomTom iTouch cradles for $69, that should work for Harrys Lap Timer yeah? The cheapest iPhone cradle I can see is about $140.
  20. I can't edit my initial post so price drop to $9300.
  21. The previous owner fitted the subframe, a lot of the Silvia and Skyline subframes are interchangeable.

  25. 7.5" is too thin, especially on the rear. Look at 8 & 9" minimum if you want to fill the guards. Unfortunately 4 stud choice sucks unless you want to pay 3k+ for a rare set of wide 4 stud rims, hence why i have a 5 stud conversion on my silvia
