  1. I'm pretty sure all the other tubes are ok, the fins broke away pretty easily but there's one small spot i'm not sure of. I've got someone who's going to weld it up (the rad shop doesn't do alloy welding) then i'll get it pressure tested.
  2. The tyre and compound is a lot more important than how wide it needs to be, but i'd say a 9" wide rim should cover you for what you need (between 245 and 265). A 235 RE55 would be far better than a 265 Falken Ziex.
  3. Yeah sorry, that was a bit of a bullshit estimate. Just comparing the 40mm aftermarket radiator to the stock ~20mm one. I just want to know if it'll still cool better than the stock one or if i'm wasting my money paying someone to weld this instead of spending another $430.
  4. Well i'd driven about 3km with my new JJR radiator and somehow something got in through the back of the shroud and fan and damaged the core. The mechanic and radiator shop said it was basically gonners but i thought it was worth a crack to see if it was fixable so took out the 5 damaged tubes (out of 62 total). Can the ends actually be welded or is it too thin like the tubes themselves? I figured losing about 10% of the surface wouldn't be too bad considering the radiator is 200% larger than the stock one.
  5. As above, PM me or email [email protected]
  6. I prefer tweezers for straightening fins, just grip on each side of the fin and pull out to get them straight.
  7. I was getting 550km+ with 75% hwy, some city, some mountain. Fairly standard with just exhaust and r34 turbos.
  8. Yep, cars only come in 1 colour here. Brown.
  9. I'm interested in 1 and 3 depending on widths and offsets, cheers.
  10. We're only allowed to wash windows and mirrors up here on level 5 water restrictions.
  11. I would expect a 12.2-12.4 for a GTST with that mph/60'.
  12. Someone's got to have a use for these guards? All sold, thanks.
  13. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=105207
  14. Guards still available. All sold.
  15. Thanks to 9krpm and MR MAD who have both asked me to cart round panels for 600km then not turned up to inspect them If anyone is GENUINELY interested in the guards they are still available at $1200 firm.
  16. I got booked twice when mine was in for repairs due to the sharp edges of the FMIC/intrusion bar/guards.
  17. No worries, but you have to give me a close up view of your brother's car I'll put them in the boot when i head down on the weekend, i'll be at Jambo on Sunday. PMing you my number.
  18. Doors on hold for someone, guards still available at $1200 so hurry because i'd prefer a Qld buyer.
  19. Doors on hold for James, guards still available.
  20. Yep i'm willing to split. If someone takes them soon i'd take $1200 for the guards and $1500 for the doors (and don't forget stock items of each are $500-600) which is a fraction of the new price.
  21. Yeah, the paint is a separate layer, it hasn't all been gel coated over or anything. If you run your nail up the guard you can sort of pick your nail on it. Your 2 options would be to VERY carefully sand back the paint, or an easier option would be to find some sort of paint stripper that won't affect the gel layer over the CF.
  22. I've got a pair of carbon fibre guards for sale
  23. Still here, taking offers and available separately. I want money to buy another car so make an offer and you might be suprised (especially Qlders who don't require postage).
