Yeah, i would consider that if the offer was right.

GTR and GTST doors are exactly the same so no problems there. The guards would be wider than GTST ones so you might need wider indicators? I'm not quite sure how the conversion works. Painted they look just the same as metal panels.

Freight Charges For Various Items, Especially Heavier Stuff.
neil_se replied to J-Boy's topic in Queensland
I had to send a carbon bonnet to Vic last week and rang round for quotes: TNT- wouldn't do Toll Priority- $500 Pack Send- $330 Hunter Express- $160 Greyhound Freight- $81 You can guess who i sent it with -
CTP costs only vary with the number of cylinders, not the type of car so it really only varies by a couple of dollars between insurers.

They're a perfect fit, they came off my GTR and i bolted standard guards straight back in their place. I've had a bit of interest in the doors and guards separately but i'd prefer to get certain sales on each before i separate. PM me offers for each and i'll consider them in another week if the lot isn't taken together. cheers Neil

Bonnet sold, big price drop on the doors and guards to just $3000!

Which club runs that series? I'm still figuring out what car i want to use next year but i'll keep it in mind. Morgan Park is only an hour from here and looks to be a much more interesting track than QR (haven't seen it in the flesh though).

Harry, for that sort of event does you car have to be log-booked or meet certain CAMS classes etc?

Awesome, i can't believe i hadn't heard this was on. I saw a few cars (porsche, 260z, escort, commodore) on my way through Withcott and Gatton Bypass yesterday morning and couldn't figure which event it was for. My parents just bought some land there on Prince Henry Drive too.

I know where you can get some CF doors, guards and bonnet

Sorry Stephen, but i'm not willing to go that low at the moment considering how much interest has been expressed in the panels. Here's some extra pics or the panels fitted to my car (about the only ones i actually took while they were on). The CF looks a bit blotchy in the pics due to being wet when the pic was taken, they're nice and even in real life. The CF would stand out a lot more on a non-grey car, but its still pretty sexy in the flesh.

Hi everyone, these panels have been making wall ornaments in my living room for long enough so they need to go. Rare as hens teeth, i'm not sure if there's any other sets like this in Australia. From other photos i've seen i believe the doors and vented guards are Garage Saurus, the bonnet is Shift Sports (slightly different weave but barely noticeable). Panels aren't perfect but in good condition, bonnet is very good. The main imperfections are in the painted strip at the top of the doors and guards. You could paint it to match your car or very carefully sand it back. These came off my GTR so i know they fit and work exactly the same as stock. Both doors have handles, electrics, window and one will come with some spare hinges and speaker i've got. Weights (each approx) Doors 17kg complete with everything (stock ~30kg) Guards 1.2kg (GTR ~2.5kg, GTST~?) Bonnet 7kg (GTR ~10kg, GTST ~18kg) I've had interest from someone wanting the doors only but i'd rather keep such rare panels together so i want to sell the doors and guards together, or the whole set. I'd prefer a local buyer (could probably deliver to Bris/Gold Coast at no cost) but am open to interstate if you've got ideas on how to post carefully. I'm chasing $3400 for doors and guards, $1400 for the bonnet, or $4000 for the lot, but am open to offers. That's less than 1/3 of the new price! (see here and here) Lots of pics below and more available by request. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...=0#entry2409650 Please PM me or email at [email protected], phone number only to serious buyers.

PMs sent Roy and Russ, i don't want to turn this into an advertisement though

The top few inches of the guards and doors are painted gunmetal grey to match the stock colour of my car so you could either veeery carefully sand it back or paint the same section to match your car. Just weighed them, bonnet is about 7kg (stock gtr ~10kg?), doors 17kg ea (stock ~30kg) and guards 1.2kg ea (stock gtr ~2.Xkg). That's with all electrics, hinges, handle, window, motors, speaker etc so i imagine you'd knock off a fair bit with an acrylic window.

I ran many 113-115mph runs in my rb20 180sx @ about 1.1bar (stock injectors, cams, AFM, etc).

I've got some R32 carbon fibre doors, guards and bonnet for anyone that wants to take their lightening a bit further
