    I turned up just after it happened but apparently it wasn't too bad, the barriers were resting again a gutter so they didn't move as easily as they might normally have so a bit more damage than normal. I/C pushed back and ?damage suspension arms. I wonder if they'll put much effort into fixing it considering they've got the new EVO IX which must almost be finished.

    If you were genuinely interested in the car you would try to negotiate with the seller or ask to go inspect the car. You might even consider paying what they're asking, as you said "$1000k here or there isnt the end of the world,you may be able to gain it back further on down the line with over cars?"

    Yes, but only so long as you've got good sticky tyres with enough sidewall flex to avoid wheelspin.

    I had a FPR similar to that (OBX) brand that lasted about a month before it started running 60psi base fuel pressure and didn't rise with boost.

    I met Russell at the Gatton Sprints a few months ago (which they won setting the 2 fastest times) and Mark and Russell share the car for events such as the Dutton Rally. They're machinery mechanics and there's a truck load of money gone into that car. Seeing the car almost made me want to paint mine black, but then i remembered how much a pain in the arse my last black car was.

    The height wheel has been used in Qld for a few years (its actually 97.9mm IIRC). The law is that the lowest part of the vehicle (aside from wheels and mud flaps) must be greater than 100mm from the ground (this includes exhaust, chassis, body kit, etc).

    They were for the seatbelt pretensioners on the old Jap belts.

    I think a compression test would be a more accurate and reliable measure.

    If they've got HKS on them they're obviously not N1's. Probably something like the GT-SS if they've got similar response the N1s. I can't see why the revs would change with the oil cap on or off
