  1. hi, When you accelerate hard through a corner do you hear it or feel a bump / feedback through the steering wheel ?
  2. Replaced my Bank 1 cam angle sensor last week, PArt was $160 from nissan and fitting was only 1x10mm bolt at the back of the head near the firewall. The hardest part was removing the harness connector (positive locking connector). Car is much better not. Fault code was 0340

  5. Hi Guys, Over the last few weeks the my car has been idling low usually about 600-650 RPM and dropping down to 450-500 now and then before lifting back up. During this period the engine light has appeared and is giving the fault code 0171 any idea whats the problem?. Ive looked at the fault codes listed for this and it says that its the left bank lean but this cant be the problem as the codes listed are from the (Infinity service manual) and the M35 doesnt have left and right bank oxygen sensors. Any advice would would be great. Other that that t he car is running great.
  6. I replaced mine when my turbo was smoking b4 I got the gt30. Mine to was bleeding back into the motor under boost.
  7. Craig, Ive got and electronic boost controller on mine and it still drops off boost a little in the top end I think its because the turbo is too small and doesnt flow enough at high rev's
  8. Mine was built by ATS in Adelaide, gt30/71 (.6 trim on the compressor) using standard housings 20mm shorter In length than standard
  9. Is the Hi-flow a roller bearing turbo (GT30) ?, Hopeing to see some dyno results for the hi-flow turbos
  10. Sounds good, you have to let us know what power she is making. I put a walbro into mine and now it seems to be runnung alot better, had some funny issues with the fuel pump wiring. All good now. Waiting to do my tax to finish off my suspension. Put new bushes and compression rods in the front drives heaps better now. Let us know how the Haltech goes.
  11. How's your tubo cranking these days anyway ? Had it on the dyno yet? I've been a slacker and haven't had a tune yet.

  13. I always thought the switch forward was back and bottom warmer and switch back was back warmer only not heat settings, But I coule never really tell

  15. Is it the lower control arms or the lower compression rods. I had to do the compression rods in my stagea and that was $650 as i had to buy new rods from Nissan. If its the lower control arm inner bushes then you can buy Noltec bushes from whiteline for the 350Z these are the same as the V35's & M35's Pages_from_WHITELINE_PLUS_CHASSIS_CONTROL_CATALOGUE_1_.pdf

  17. I haven done any more research into my problem. I just dont use the intermitant. Its very weard as some times I think thyat it is the way it is controlled. Now and then I will get a quick 2 wipes in the int function. I was going to pull them apart and see if I could reduce the slop. By the time I get around to it I wont them anyway

  19. In my car i have a apexi boost controller that controls the boost levels and i left the existing boost solenoid plugged in electrically but blocked off all the hoses.
  20. My high boost setting has been up around 19psi and havent hit boost cut, What exactly happens? Just fuel cut and no more power like rev limiter ?.
  21. im running SAFC II works well for the limited tunability it gives. Still waiting for someone to flash the factory ECU's
  22. SOunds like you have too much money to spend on your car
  23. If just a bit of a whistle then thats OK as they all seem to do that due to the geometry of the exhaust manifold and dump pipe.
