Hey guys i damaged my front bar so I need a new one. Ive been looking around on the internet for a couple weeks now and still havn't found anything i like. Found a trust style front bar like this one http://members.pcug.org.au/~jdeakins/images/GTR.jpg but i think i still prefer the standard GTR bar. Is there any GTR front bars out there that actually look good? I would love a nismo (v-spec) front bar but can't find one anywhere. (with the square vents) In the end i might just go for a standard front bar and get the vent inserts put in later on. What do you guys think? Any links or ideas i would apreciate! thanks

Hey guys well I am happy to report apparently my engine is fine. Wen't and had another compression test done at a very reputable place and also hot and cold leakdown tests done. Compression was 150 on all 6 cyl and on the leakdown just said "nothin to worry about all less than 10%" I dunno why it came up with dodgy readings the first time but i'm happy with that result! Cheers

the battery isn't very good! if i dont start the car for a couple days it wont start. think i should change the battery before the test?

i wasn't there when the test was done but it was done by a reputable performance shop. I'm getting another compression test and leakdown done on tuesday so when i have the results ill post them up! I doubt the engine could be that bad.. the car is standard and runs very well! nice and smooth good pickup and idles perfect

Hey guys got my compression test results on my Rb26DETT as follows. 176 180 177 155 150 170 There is a diff of 30 between cyl 2 and 5 :S Is it worth throwing on some aftermarket turbo's and power fc etc or does it look like rebuild time? How long do you guys think the engine might last? Seems to run fine? Thanks!

Hey guys i'm after 2 x 150mm replacement hks filters for my pods. I'm on Bris north side. Rather pick them up. I tried ordering some from nengun but they told me they were hard to find and cancelled the order after 1.5 months of waiting. Called autobarn they don't stock them. If anyone can point me in the right direction i'd apreciate it! Thanks

ok well i am planning on doing a power fc and new turbo's later on down the track but not at this stage. The car already has a full exhaust and ive orderd new filters for my pods as the old ones were filthy. Already have a boost controller though ill be leaving boost as standard for now. Don't want to risk stuffing a turbo or my engine. Anyone else comment on the fuel pump? Should I go aftermarket or genuine? Only ever going to be after 250 to 300awkw. Can anyone answer these Q's? 1. Would i benefit from having both exhaust and intake side cam gears? I kind of remember someone saying you dont need 1 or the other. 2. Would the car have to be tuned upon installtion of the cam gears? or will they simply adjust them the same as the previous config. 3. Is there actually and advantage having hks or trust timing belt over the genuine nissan? I can't imagine there would be ANY difference in terms of performance. THANKS
