LOL oops! Come on man....come down for dinner! Don't you just work up the road? lol Or like, bring your boss aswell, I'm sure he'd love it and could even gain some brownie points xD Nah, you don't have to be a SAU Vic member to attend this. It's an open event for anyone. So you can bring whoever you want I guess, just don't bring a crew of 50 people and take our seats lol. But yeah, come down if you can, meet some of us and I'm sure you'd have lots of questions to ask, regarding your future car haha. By the way, when you guys can definately come, then just let me know, so I can get a list going
-
Well....my "customers" wanted to get there first lol, so they look even more special They said it, not me hahaha By the way Pat, did they say anything when you give em their $30 back?
-
I'll keep you updated

Because that restaurant is not ONLY all you can eat, you can just go and buy take away. But since WE ARE doing all you can eat, then everything is included. By the way, that plate of sashimi is $55 and when we went, we went through a couple of those ( 4 people) lol.

Hey everyone, As you know, I'm organising an SAU sushi meet! So here's the details: What: SAU Sushi Meet When: Monday 7th of December Where: J's Surf & Turf - Japanese "All you can eat" Restaurant - 133 Were St, Brighton Time: The session starts at 7:45pm and finishes at 10ish. But I want to have a pre-meet as well, for a chat or some photos, so I decided to meet at Brighton Beach Gardens (address apox - 31 Esplanade, Brighton (map below)) at 6:45pm. We'll be leaving there at about 7:30pm, to head to the restaurant (only up the road (5-10mins) lol), so we have time to find parking and all. For those who can't make it to the pre-meet, just meet us at the restaurant at 7:45pm. Cost: It's $28 per head, and you can order whatever you want on their menu (below), however many times you want. Drinks are cheap, soft drinks are $2 per can and I think some Jap beers are $4-5. Along with all the food on their menu, you are also entitled to 1/2 dozen of oysters each. So I'll just order the maximum for us, for those who don't eat raw oysters, I'm sure the person next to you can help you finish them Extra Info: Please let me know here if you can make it asap, so I can count the numbers and make a booking, I have to book 3-4 days prior to the event Menu: Rice Dishes Gyudon (Sukiyaki Don): cooked beef and onion in special sauce on rice 9.00 Tendon: deep fried tempura prawn & vegetables on rice 9.50 Yakiniku Don: BBQ beef on rice 9.50 Curry Rice: curry rice and veg with beef 8.00 Teriyaki Don: grilled chicken in teriyaki sauce on rice 9.00 Bento: containing a veriety of food including fish, meat vegetables pickles and rice 16.50 Miso Soup 2.00 Noodle Dishes Kitsune Udon *: fried beancurd and veg, thick noodles in soup 7.50 Tempura Udon: deep fried prawns and vegetables, thick noodles in soup 9.50 Yaki Soba *: stir fried veg, with thin noodles and chicken 9.00 Sushi & Sashimi Sushi: assorted fresh fish on vinegared rice,entree/ main 8.50/ 13.00 California *: avocado, prawns, cucumber, salmon, carrots with mayonnaise,entree(4 pce)/ main(8 pce) 6.00/ 11.00 Futornaki *: egg, cucumber, shiitake mushroom and fish powder,thickroll,5 pce 7.00 Veg Futomaki *: vegetables in thickroll,5 pce 5.50 Inari Sushi *: vinegared rice in sweet beancurd 5.50 Sanshoku Roll: tuna, salmon, cucumber small rolls,18 pce 9.00 Chirashi Sushi: sliced raw fish with veg on vinegared rice 13.00 Salmon & Tuna Sushi: salmon & tuna on vinegared rice,8 pce 15.00 Sashimi: assorted sliced raw fish,entree/ main 10.00/ 15.50 Sushi & Sashimi: combination of sushi & sashimi 30.00 Sushi Mix (M): 21 pieces sushi,12 pieces small roll,4 pieces California roll 45.00 Sushi Mix (L): 28 pieces sushi,18 pieces small roll,6 pieces California roll 55.00 Handrolls Vegetarian 2.00 Cooked Tuna 2.00 Chicken Teriyaki 2.30 Salmon & Avocado 2.50 Prawn & Avocado 2.50 Side Dishes Agedashi Tofu *: deep fried beancurd with fish flakes,4 pce 6.00 Tori Kara Age : deep fried marinated chicken,5 pce 7.00 Yakitori: grilled chicken on skewer with sauce, 3 skewers 7.50 Tempura *: deep fried prawns and veg in light batter 9.50 Nasudengaku *: deep fried eggplant with miso paste 6.00 Gyoza: Japanese dumplings,8 pce 6.50 Tonkatsu: deep fried crumbed pork fillets with sauce and salad 9.00 Potato Croquette : fried crumbed potato, chopped onion and vegetables,3 pieces/ 1 piece 5.00/ 2.00 Zuke Maguro Don: thinly sliced and marinated raw tuna on sushi rice 9.00 Teriyaki Salmon: pan fried fresh salmon with teriyaki sauce, and rice 12.00 Asparagus and Beef Salad: cooked beef with asparagus, lettuce and delicious sesame dressing 9.50 Yaki Gohan: Japanese style special fried rice 6.00 Calamari Combo: 1 portion calamari,1 portion fries & 1 potato cake, includes lemon, tartare and tomato sauce 7.80 Calamari Combo: 1 portion calamari,1 portion fries & 1 potato cake, includes lemon, tartare and tomato sauce 7.80 Deep Fried Seafood Combo: 2 pieces prawn,2 potato cakes,1 piece fish,1 potion calamari & chips, includes lemon, tartare and tomato sauce 11.00 Dim Sim: each 0.50 Potato Cake: each 0.50 Kids!Kids!: 2 dim sims,2 potato cakes,1 portion chips 4.00 Spring Rolls: small 4.50 NOTE: Above is their menu, with all their prices on it, but since we are doing "ALL YOU CAN EAT", everything on there is included in your $28 Also if you don't eat raw stuff, there's lots of other cooked food on the menu, so that's not an excuse of not coming By the way, it's CASH ONLY! Tyre Black Spat Up Onto Body?
Charles89 replied to HairyMerkin's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
I got some tar residue on my car a week ago, due to the hot weather, the road was melting lol. But I got it off pretty easily with some polish, maybe that's coz I cleaned it straight away, I'm not sure. -
You are quite wrong, I left my car outside for the last few days, since its Melbourne, the vinyl went through some crazy weather, heavy rain and 38c days and it is still spotless The only time it will collect dirt and grime is when someone runs their hand on my vinyl over and over and over and over lol, and even then, a bit of water and a wipe, it's clean again.
-
It looks weird lol, big hole in the middle of my rims xD
-
I just realised my awesome fun Buller weekend came at a cost, I think on the way up/down the mountain, my front 2 Buddy Club P1 centre caps has fallen off
-
I'd take the yellow GTT over the blue GTR, only coz the yellow GTT got to the venue first! LOL, just kidding Jason, I still love your GTR
-
When you say it drifts, I hope you were meaning on the tracks, coz SAU does not tolerate any illegal activities, like drifting on the streets As for "what to do", go look in the turbo section of the forum, there's many topics on what you need for what power you want
-
Well if you just need the vinyl to fix your pillars, then I'm sure I can sell you some cheaper than they can Lemme know how much they wanna charge you.
-
Well, if you want, you could send your b pillar to me and I can wrap it for you OR I could send you 2 strips of vinyl and you can wrap it urself
-
spotted a blue R34 GTT/GTR with sau stickers yesterday at about 2pm on springvale road heading towards glen waverly
-
wahahahaha that video of Roman was FUNNY LOL! And I actually didn't realise how close James was to my ass xD Now...how do I download that video?
-
Yeah, its carbon fibre vinyl from 3M, it DOES have some depth to it and you can actually feel the weave. Ashneel and Basti have both seen it and seems to be impressed with it Check out the link in my sigature for more pictures. I'm currently offering to wrap parts for a cost I think Ashneel wants me to do his spoiler stand and interior Yes, it can stick to almost anything lol, plastic, exterior, interior etc. As above, I'm offering to wrap parts for a cost
-
What do you mean stick? It does stick to whatever I'm applying on, if I use heat Well, if I want, I can just spray a coat of clear over the top, but like I've said before, I'd rather a satin finish in my interior. The 3M stuff should endure the hot weather, but I'll keep you guys updated Also, a coat of clear should make the vinyl more durable, but it doesn't really bother me
-
Jamessssss...Do you still have all the original videos? If I give you like $5, can you post them to me on a DVD?
-
Honestly......with the amount of manual R33's around... doing an conversion (NA-turbo or auto-manual) is just not worth it. You'd be looking at anywhere near $2,500-5,000 for manual conversion. I thought of doing a manual conversion for a R34 auto, but didn't end up doing it, coz it's not worth it. So i looked harder and found my yellow R34 manual lol.
-
Smart kid Made it like 2 days ago, to promote that I'm a graphic designer LOL
-
For me, I'd prefer my interior in satin than gloss. Yeah, it might look real and all, but I don't wanna get glare from the sun off the gloss
-
I just carbon fibre wrapped some of my centre console, thats another +1 to me lol
