I just went onto carsales, and I think my mate might have sold his R34 lol. But I guess there's always other ones around. Just make sure you don't rush into it, be patient. You could even test drive a few different cars, maybe NA R32, R33, R34 then R33 gtst, R34 GTT. See which one you really like and prefer, then weigh up your options. You'll never know, you might have just as much fun in a NA than a turbo, at least theres not so much power to handle when you are taking corners in the wet And if you do end up getting an NA first, and get sick of the power, then I guess you can say that you've actually tried lol. But it is true tho, what 95% of NA skyline drivers say, that once you have driven an NA for awhile, you'll be hungry for more power (I was one of them) Which area do you live in? I guess if you live close to me, I could take you for a spin in mine

Hmmm....What's your budget for a Skyline? if it's about 10-11k, then it can get you a decent series 2 manual R33. And if I was you, I'd consider that, because R32's are getting old and most series 1 NA R33's has been thrashed by other P platers lol. When I first got my P's I imported a series 2 manual R33, it drove like a dream, only recently I sold it for 12.7k and the buyer still sms me saying how awesome it drives and how much fun he's having. And to answer your question, caryards can charge you 9k-13k for a R33. But if you have the patience, then you could pick up a cheap manual R34 for maybe 12-14k. I think my mate is selling a black manual NA R34 for 13.5k

If you search in the NA section of the forum, there's HEAPS of post similar to this. And pretty much what everyone will tell you is either buy an NA skyline for your P's, then upgrade when your off P's. Or just drive a shitbox and buy a turbo when you have your full license. You were so much better off just buying an NA from the start, just because you took the turbo out, it doesn't mean it will be like an NA, it's not gonna have the same power as an NA (in a bad way) lol.

It's weird because it happened outta nowhere But after doing some research, there are other cars that had similar problem, even GTR's, and people just suggest to restart the car, as it restarts the ECU, or to upgrade the stock ECU to aftermarket.

Nope, the engine was well and truely warmed up, because after a spirited drive, on my way home, thats when the problem started (non/not much boost at all), then I quickly restarted the car and it started boosting again, but only 7psi in 1st, max boost in other gears, then when I come to a stop, shifted back into 1st, still only 7psi max.

Thanks for the advice! But how would you explain why the car wasn't boosting much/at all before I restarted the car?

It was just weird, because it wouldn't build boost after spirited drive, then after I turned off the car and on again, it only went to 7psi, but it hit full boost in 2nd, 3rd, 4th. It felt like an NA in 1st gear.......

But is it my car or it's like that on everyone else's car? Because I'm almost sure that I could hit full boost in first?

I don't if it's just me or the car, after a spirit drive, the car doesn't seem to be boosting in 1st gear... My R34 is pretty much stock, with just fmic, pod, exhaust, it's running stock boost but it creeped up to 9psi. I'm pretty sure I could hit 9psi in 1st gear before today, but after the drive, it won't boost, it felt like an NA in 1st, then when I changed to 2nd, then it started boosting again? So then I turned off my car and started it again, then it started boosting in 1st, but it only got to 7psi? Any help would be awesome! Thanks

LOL, of course I know where Lightwood Rd is There's actually like 2 yellow R34's around Springvale, 1 is kitted with SAU stickers, and 1 is with big spoiler no SAU stickers. Then there's mine haha.

Yeah, no trouble at all during the cruise, which was cool But apparently during it, one of the groups got followed by an undercover, but nothing happened.
